I'm sorry, is it Ryan Reynolds if a racist really loves his movies? Is it Britney Spears' fault if a rapist loves jamming to her music? What point are you trying to make? Bad people have hobbies and interests just like everyone else. That doesn't put the celebrities/shows/books/etc they like at blame for their actions.

I feel like the problem isn't that just that art is being political but rather TOO MANY things are political when they shouldn't be.

How should money should we put towards the military vs education? Political. Debating on raising taxes to help fix old roads? Political.

You know what shouldn't political? Basic human rights. Freedom of religion. Whether or not it's okay for people to make and/or act on threats to attack, kill, rape, etc someone just some BS about a religion they clearly know nothing about.

Those SHOULDN'T be political but for some reason they still are.
