underrole chapter 2-7

- OOOOHHHH!! LIGGGHHT!! - Wave shouted, entering with no reason and crashing into someone. Scar hearing a thud rushed inside finding him under a stack of books, and a boy on the ground under him, shook.

- Awesome, so much for protection. Wave!! - Scar started, helping with the books and tossing them away – Why do you always run around with pointlessly! Don’t you see you’re getting on my nerves? -

- I found a treasure! It’s all purple!! - Wave explained, pointing the boy still dazed from the hit. He was around twenty years old, had glasses, purple hair /purple, what a weird color/, and a nice wool jacket. Wave reached for the glasses the boy was searching for with his hand, not so far from them, - See, treasure! - he repeated, giving back the object to the rightful owner.

Scar was a little curious, she didn’t go in that area often, always staying in Snowdin since she loved the cold.

- I see.. but maybe you should get off him… -

- My name is Ryo, it’s nice to meet you! - said the purple kid, putting his glasses back on. The sound of a stick hitting the floor started to be heard in the distance, and steps were getting closer as an old turtle dressed as an explorer walked forward on two legs.

- I see you found company, Ryo – Gerson said, welcoming - Hello Scar -

- Do you know me..? - she questioned

- No, - the old turtle said, touching the beard under his chin, - But I know everyone under here except the kid who is sitting on top of my young assistant. -

- aAAAAAAAH! I was degraded to babysitter, and I didn’t hear about this weird and tall human. - replied Scar, flapping her wings.

- T-Thanks? - Ryo felt slightly attacked

- You know how it is, some monsters want to get out as fast as possible and some don’t, but it’s not like someone wants to harm him. Also, he doesn’t go out a lot. - explained Gerson calmly

- I’m sorry I’m not ice proof. - frowned Ryo

- Don’t worry, it’s like that for everyone – Wave said, placing a hands on Ryo’s shoulder

- Good question. - added Scar.

- You… you know what, nevermind – chuckled nervously Ryo, realizing somehow that it was better to drop the argument for his own sanity.

Gerson laughed – You’ll never be able to get him to talk like that, you can’t just ask to someone so young -

- But he’s tall like me… - Ryo answered, perplex

- I’m spatial – argued Wave

An alarm came on, interrupting the conversation.

- The exploration team is back, I have to go and see – Scar said, ruffling her feathers and moving towards the door.

- Let’s go! - added on Wave

Gerson slowly moved towards a shelf, - No need to be hasty little guard, if something happened it’s already late, and if it didn’t happen, you’re ahead of time. -

The old turtle got a glowing stick, and tied it around Wave’s wrist.

- There, now you won’t loose your friend out there. -

Scar bowed to thank him, and pulled Wave along in a rush.

- ...ice proof? - Gerson glanced over to Ryo once they were alone.

- Shut up… - he mumbled back.

- Let’s go, we have to reach Snowdin fast!! - Scar panted, running and dragging Wave along – Run! -

That was a mistake. Wave like a car took off, heaving Scar behind, and in less than a minute they ran across the entire cave getting to Snowdin. He stopped suddenly, launching Scar in the snow.

- I’m… hating him so much… - she stammered

- They don’t look so happy. - she heard him say.

- ...they? -

The exploration team was walking nearby, the snow covering the visual, but the feeling of sadness was tangible, their armor full of scratches but it didn’t seem that someone was hurt badly. They were tired and hungry.

- Nothing? - Scar asked them, once she got up

One of the dogs in armor shook it’s head.

- Damn. -

Behind them a huge shadow came closer, Asgore, the one reduced worse. He placed a big hand on Scar’s shoulder.

- We weren’t able to reach the ruins, we don’t have time… we should ask for back up. -

- Should I come? - Scar asked, staring intently

- Even if this doesn’t put me at ease, having someone who doesn’t soffer from darkness and cold could be a big help. -

Scar sparked up in happiness, but Wave seemed perturbed.

- What’s wrong? - she asked, looking back at him.

- Mhh… I don’t like it. -

- I didn’t introduce myself.. - started Asgore – what’s bothering you? -

- The big dog is super dark. - Wave said, pointing to the tallest dog in armor, a spear for weapon and cute puppy eyes.

- He’s tall, isn’t he? Don’t worry, he is harmless, but I don’t think he is that dark. -

- Stop bothering him, Wave. - Scar said, annoyed.

- Yes, but they’re going without that doggo. -

- But there’s no… - the time of a breath, then Asgore yelled.

- SHADOW!!! -

Suddenly, the dog Wave pointed unsheathed the spear, using it as a bat to hit Asgore, but he bend down avoiding it, while Wave got the hit right in the face and went flying in a nearby ravine. Being her first real fight, Scar didn’t have the reflexes to catch him, so she just had to watch him fall horrified, attacking the dog next as a reaction, using her frozen feathers as blades. The shadow regenerated the armor at every hit, so the feathers just clashed against it as everyone else attacked. The dog responded, and she dodged thanks to her small stature. The fight wasn’t meant to last, since the soldiers were already weakened. Scar was dealing damage but the doggo was huge, and she was small, too small to do anything serious. Hit after hit the battle continued, the tiredness was having the upper hand until a small light hit the dog, making him fly several meters away. The group turned around to see where it came from. Wave climbed the ravine like nothing with a flower on his shoulder.

- Like the cold wasn’t enough! - it spoke – Also the roller coaster! I hate this place!!! - it yelled, releasing white bullets in the air and shooting them, and one pierced the doggo.

Wave just stood there, pensive for a while, before snapping his fingers, and the bullets became rainbow colored.

- Ahah! Here’s our friendly combo! -

- ...WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO DO THAT! -

- Here it comes! -

- ARGH! -

Flowey shot more bullets, the speed and effect totally different. A storm of colors was shot against the dog, who flew at a remarkable distance.

- Why do you… keep screwing up… everything!! Now there’s no damage!! - shouted the flower, hysterical.

- But I’m sorry for the dog… - responded Wave

- It almost killed us! -

- I’m gonna heal him. -

- NO, YOU’RE NOT. - Scar intervened.

- Finally, someone sane. - added Flowey

But Wave already threw a green blast. - What? -

However, the cure had a weird effect, and the dog vanished.

- ...Oh no… he went away… - Wave was saddened

- AHAH! You’re useful! -

The others looked at him, and asked if they saw the original, the real dog was made of blood and magic. Wave answered that he pat him back at the arc with red lights. The situation was pretty weird.

- Dammit, we didn’t get at the ruins and we also brought a shadow with us… we’re really running out of time. We have to get that back up. - pondered Asgore, serious in the face. again thanks to @nephdetermined i don’t know how i could keep this project without her :D...she is amazing and someday she will hit me with a bat if i don’t stop kill the eng language

underrole chapter 2-6

The day after Undyne woke up to a Wave covered in vines and Flowey with his face on the floor, have they slept or fight?

Undyne was really happy, it’s been so long since she had a good night sleep, and watching them sleep she said

- I missed this. -

Looking outside the window, she noticed Scar, and an idea came to her. She grabbed Wave, and threw him on Scar from the window.

- HEY!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WAIT, WAIT!! - Flowey stammered, jerking awake… Too late, they were already flying.

Scar pushed Wave off her as soon as they crashed.

- Gah!! -

- You have a promotion! Now you got a recruit! Now go! - Undyne said.

- Huh?? No! Why?? -

- Don’t you remember? Amnesia and other stuff. I have to rest, so I can’t go on patrol or do anything else. This is your responsibility. Now bye! - And with that, Undyne slammed the door.

Scar’s jar dropped open. Then she started to kick Wave, who was still on the ground. And then, she started poking him.

- Hey? Hey? Hey? -

- ENOUGH! - Shouted Flowey, slipping from under Wave.

Out of fear, Scar cut one of Flowey’s petals with her claws.

- YOU..!! - muttered Flowey

His sentence was stopped as Wave woke up, yelling – GOOD MORNING! Hey, I should be in a bed. -

- You’re weird. - Scar commented, backing up as she saw Floweys very upset.

- C’MERE, I’LL STRANGLE HER! -

- Flowey… dont tell me… - Wave started.

- What? ...What?! -

- YOU MADE A FRIEND ALL BY YOURSELF! -

- NO! - Answered in unison Scar and Flowey – DON’T COPY ME! - they then said to each other. - What?? GRR. - Wave laughing was just making everyone more nervous.

Undyne, looking from the window – Yup, he’s back. -

The three of them started walking through Snowdin passing by the Waterfalls: the plants were bright like diamonds for the crystal that covered them, water drops fell from the ceiling, the wind was howling in the cave. The light produced by the flowers was the only thing that banished darkness that imbued the place as the water and the crystals shined.

- It wasn’t this cold before. - Flowey noticed

- It wasn’t? - echoed Scar

- Of course! You stupid ice bird can’t feel cold! But my petals are frozen! Wave do something!! -

But Wave was staring at the pretty lights in the area.

- Oh NO… my brain froze too! I asked help to him! - Flowey hid in the poket of Wave’s sweatshirt. - Nevermind. -

- What is cold? - Wave asked.

- What? How can’t you know? - questioned Scar. She couldn’t even explain it to him, not being able to feel it as Flowey rightfully exposed. - Let’s go. - she hurried.

Once they reached Snowdin, everything changed, darkness swallowed the light, Wave’s fingers froze almost immedeately, like his hair, but he didn’t notice, the perennial storm of that place covered every sound and it was so loud to be silent. Everything was dark, everything was ice and snow.

- Shouldn’t you have wore something more warm? You almost turned into a statue. - stared Scar

Wave looked at her – What’s a statue? - And he closed his sweatshirt.

- Are you ok? You look weird. -

- What? -

Scar silenced him. - No questions, please. - Was he dangerous? At least the flower wasn’t going to come out, Scar thought as she dragged Wave. - Stay close to me. If you get lost, you’ll die and Undyne will kill me. -

- Ok!! - said Wave as he followed

- Careful where you walk, in this storm if you fall you’ll be buried by snow in a few seconds, if that happens it’s going to be hard for me to find you. -

- Ok, but why? -

- BECAUSE we’re in a storm of darkness and snow! -

- It doesn’t look so dark to me. -

- Shut up and walk. -

She brought Wave to the village, in the darkness it was possible to see some glimpsing lights, and a gate covered in red lights before an ice bridge. Dogs were at each of the sides, guarding it.

- This is Snowdin, if you get lost follow a light and enter in a house, ok? -

- Ok! -

Scar had the feeling that he didn’t even listen, since Wave was already gone.

- This can’t be happening… where is he?!?! -

Wave had reached the gate, and two dogs were blocking it.

- Can I pass? - the dog shook his head – Please? - the dog shook his head again – But I wanna pass – the dog pointed an illuminated sign with “ DANGER “ written on it.

Flowey yelled from the sweatshirt, luckily the noise of the storm was able to muffle his words and the dogs weren’t able to hear.

- IDIOT! IT’S COLD OUT HERE!! WHY DON’T GO IN A HOUSE?!! WHY??! -

- But I wanna go ice skating right now. -

- WHY IS EVERYTHING FROZEN HERE!! -

Wave ran around as his clothes got frozen, and headed towards a house that was covered in what looked like purple wool. He ran inside, yelling – HEY!! - but after opening the first door, after a small empty room, there was another one. So after closing the first one, he went to the second, and yelled opening it – HEY!! -

Muffet, the money sucking dealer, yelled startled.

- WHAT IN THE… oh.. a client. How can I help you? -

She was different from how he remembered, the elegant dress was taken over by an armor made with her own web. The room was lit and it had everything you needed to survive in that place, with a stove to keep the room warm.

- Hi Muffet! - Wave greeted

- Hello… how do you know my name? - the spider questioned.

Scar stormed inside the room – THERE YOU ARE. -

- Oh, there is the recruit who never changed her outfit in ten years, always wearing that armor. -

- Hey Muffet. - replied Scar, getting an annoyed expression over her face.

- Do you want to buy something? - questioned the shop keeper.

- I’m here to get him. - Scar answered, pointing at Wave.

- But he was buying something. - answered back Muffet

- No, he was not buying anything. - responded Scar, growing frustrated

- Yes he was! - chanted Muffet

- No, he was not!! -

Flowey, angered out of his mind, popped out – CAN I HAVE FIVE SECONDS OF PEACE ! -

Muffet frowned – What an ugly creature. Still better than the bird, however. -

- Do I have to report to Asgore all of your scams? -

- I don’t know what you’re talking about. - Muffet replied, nonchalantly.

- I’m talking about the gloves you made Ferry buy! It’s literally a rock! You made her buy them because the got glued to her, and you know that your armor and clothing is done to get attached to people for a small amount of time.

- But what are you talking about? - asked Flowey

Muffet laughed at the ignorance of the flower.

- My spiders and I sew the armor and protections of the whole kingdom. -

- Of course!! Your thread is the only thing that resists to this cold! And is sticky so the wind doesn’t blow it away. Beyond that, I tolerate you because your thread changes color depending on the color of the soul, and it doesn’t work on shadows. -

Muffet grabbed a glove, and used it to slap Wave.

- Like this. -

- YOU REALLY DID IT IN FRONT OF ME?? - Scar shouted

- I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I just wanted to show it. - Muffet shrugged, letting go of the glove, that fell on the floor. Wave and Flowey stared at her, confused. She slapped Wave with the glove again, but if fell once more.

- What the.. -

She tried with the hat, but it wasn’t sticking, same with the flower.

- AHAHAH, STUPID MORTAL, that doesn’t work on me! Unlike you, I got no soul, and the idiocy of my friend protects me. -

- Yeah, I am stupid! - commented Wave. Flowey almost giggled.

- It… doesnt work this way… - Scar said, slowly

- You are…  hey, where did they go? -

In an istant, without making noise Wave was gone.

- OH NO, NOT AGAIN!! - Scar started chasing Wave, and she will catch up to him in the caves. She burst forward, throwing a few ice feathers against Wave.

- I WILL CHOP YOUR LEGS OFF!! STOP! -

And Wave stopped, but not for the threat. A shop appeared out of nowhere inside a fracture in the wall, Gerson and company’s shop. as always let’s thanks to @nephdetermined  for her hard work, thanks you very much for the help .

Alphys was trembling, waiting in the elevator for Alphys.

- No… no no n-no! She may be dying!! -

Scar was ready to go back down and fight, but then Undyne came out of the elevator like nothing happened.

- So? -

- All good Scar. - she pushed onto her Wave – Now, bring these two back home, I need to talk to Alphys. But the flower… the flower is stuck on the idiot, and the idiot is harmless, so if he did anything it would end up in your tea. -

- But… -

- What, you can’t do it? -

- I CAN!! - yelled Scar, pushing the two idiots outside. Flowey laughed at the scientist.

- See ya later. -

Alphys swallowed, super tense, as Undyne gave her a pat, anche picked her up.

- Undyne, what are you doing…? - she stammered. The woman just brought her to bed, placing her down gently and tucking her in.

- Nothing, but now you sleep… we’ll talk tomorrow… I just wanted to give you some space from those two.. - Undyne smiled warmly, taking Alphys’ phone with her and bringing it downstairs, to let her rest for once.

- Thanks Undyne.. - she answered, silently weeping a little.

Undyne walked out the lab, hands in poket.

- Now.. let’s see what needs to be done. -

Undyne thought of everything that she had to do; talking with Sans, talking with the flower, with Asgore… Wave and Flowey preceded her at home, and were waiting for her, but when she was nearby she heard the flower screaming… and she asked herself what was that she missed so much of them…

- What happened?? - Flowey was screeching, - Why am I in this crappy situation! -

Wave was smiling, giving no signs of wanting to answer. The flower grabbed the childs cheeks with his vines, pulling them.

- You stupid thing!!  You let me die! And look what happened! -

- But we’re alive! - muffled Wave in the grasp.

- BECAUSE YOU RESET, STUPID FACE!!! Stop smiling!! You’re making me nervous!!! -

- Does that mean you missed me? Aww. -

Flowey cracked – YOU’RE NOT LISTENING!!!! - he pulled so hard on his cheeks as if he wanted to tore them off – IN WHICH TIMELINE DO I HAVE TO GO TO SEE YOU SERIOUS !!! -

- So you want to change timeline just to see me? -

The flower was crushed by some much power (or stupidity whatsoever) that he freed him saying – I I give up. -

Undyne knocked on the door.

- So do I have to leave this couple by itself? -

- Just perfect, the fis… - Flowey started, but couldn’t finish since Wave jumped on Undyne, blocking her in a hug and making both tumble on the floor.

- Oof! Eheh, I missed you and the talking tea too – laughed Undyne,

- YOU BIT… -

Was beginning Flowey, before Undyne got up and grasped him in her fist

– Now, let’s talk. -

Flowey swallowed.

Undyne told Wave to sit and he did, taking off his sweater. She took out tread and needle, starting to sew something.

- I don’t wanna know what you’re doing with those needles… -

- Flower, start explaining what happened. -

He did a confused expression – Me? I should explain?? How can I if I died before the end?! -

She sat down – Right, I forgot some details in these months… explain me the trick, about the reset -

Flowey put on a terrifying face, but Undyne threw a cup of water on his face – Don’t do that face. Or I’ll drink you. -

- To make a long story short, the time and place where we are can shift in a small matter when reset happens. THIS is the POWER OF CHARA! THE POWER OF DETERMINATION! And I can’t believe it!! She betrayed me in the end! After everything I did!! -

Wave pat him, but Flowey snapped.

- I’M NOT A DOG!!! -

Undyne almost chuckled.

- You two look like old friends -

She received an annoyed glare from Flowey.

- Ok, ok, so.. - the fish summoned her piece of the RESET – Wave pressed it. -

- Wave???? - Flowey grabbed the kid’s face – You told me you didn’t!! How did you do it??? -

- Oh! I pressed something. -

- I hate you! Tell me the truth! -

- ...I forgot. -

- I HATE YOU SO MUCH!!! -

Wave laughed.

- WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?!?!? Is making fun of me so entertaining? -

- Yes. -

- YOU’RE LUCKY I CAN’T KILL YOU!!! -

Meanwhile, Undyne was trying hard not to laugh.

- Remember tho, you’re my best friend. -

- You… wha… I… DON’T USE MY WORDS AGAINST ME!! - Flowey shook is head angrily till he was exhausted.

- Listen, you small thing, let’s talk business. - she sat down – You died, Wave shielded me dying and I have absorbed some of Wave and of the kid that attacked us, I killed her over and over again and she still came back, I was desperate.. let’s say that I used my teeth. -

- Excuse me? - Flowey asked.

- Doesn’t matter. -

- Tee… wait, you absorbed Wave? Not being human, how could you? You can’t… it’s him!! -

- I am Wave! - pronounced the kid.

- But… what the… argh, I… - mumbled the flower, following that to more incomprehensible sounds. -

- Then, Wave came back – explained Undyne – I think, but I don’t know how that happened, except that it was the reset. -

- Wait, after a reset everything returns to how it was… unless somethings isn’t available. - - Let me finish! - Undyne said – So, the reset, I came back, but everything was different, my soul is solid on my chest, and the twerp is in my dreams. -

- ...SOMETHING NEW! Wait, the twerp is Chara? Don’t tell me you are her too. -

- ..maybe. -

- No… I can’t believe it… not… booo… ok, you know what… No, I can’t, see you tomorrow. I’m leaving. - Flowey muttered, hiding in the poket of Wave’s sweater, and closing the pocket – Good night. -

- ...I guess he was exhausted. It was a lot to get in. - Undyne commented, - did you understand? -

- Absoluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutely not. -

- ...one question. Why did you press the RESET? -

- Because she was pressing the other one. -

After that, they decided that it was enough talking, and everyone went to bed. Once tucked in, Flowey sneaked out to check on Wave’s eyes. - Mhh… a red eye… mhhh.. but.. -

Flowey couldn’t end the sentence that Wave trapped him in a lethal hug as he was sleeping, in which the poor flower would be trapped the whole night without being able to move. once again thanks to the cuteness in person @nephdetermined for her love...i mean time coff coff that she give to my story uwu

underrole chapter 2-4

Undyne ran after Wave the instant he dashed off. She asked herself, what was that voice? It was irritating and almost familiar, she knew she heard it somewhere, but where…? And why was Wave running towards it? The doubts vanished as soon as the two reached a room with an armored door wide open, with inside a huge metal case with a glass window to look inside.

Inside, when she was closer enought to get a glance, a flower in a grass field was hitting the glass to get out. No trace of Wave.

- Oh…? The flower is here? I hoped so… -

After a better inspection, she noticed that Wave was inside.

- WAVE!! -

- Huff…. Wuff… urk.. stoop… hey!! -

Before Undyne could add anything she was joined by a sweaty and panting Alphys, who wasn’t really wasn’t the active type. She splashed on the door, closing it… very slowly.

- Oh… no… oh no! I can’t let him out! Undyne you have to help me!! -

- What are you talking about..? - Undyne was very confused.

Scar arrived shortly after, and hearing what Alphys was saying she immedeately helped her close the door. She saw the two struggling so much with it, it closed but it took way too long.

- You should do some exercise. -

- UNDYNE THIS ISN’T THE TIME! - Alphys squealed, anxious.

Meantime, inside the case..

Flowey, seeing Wave coming towards him with his dumb smile, snapped aggressively.

- You still!! Go away! Or get me outta here, you idiot! - He jabbered, as he let a root of his impale Wave – Do you have ANY idea of much time passed!!! - And he impaled Wave again – HOW DID i GET HERE? And why am I alone again?!! -

Wave indifferent of being attacked, and not reacting to it at all, replied with one of the worst sentences ever.

- I’m sorry, I was sleeping. -

He clasped his hands together, in apology.

- Please forgive me. -

Meantime, on the outside…

- Undyne! You don’t understand!! He’ll end up dying! That flower is dangerous! At some point he went crazy and started attacking everything and everyone around him, we were able to stop him by miracle. - Alphys was explaining. Undyne answered, as she laughed – No, I’m not worried. - She got closer to the case, pressing her ear against the glass – Sssh, I can’t hear… - che murmured, even tho the glass was too thick to hear anything.

Meantime, inside the case..

Wave moved, kneeling down in front of Flowey.

Scar from the outside, was looking inside the glass next to Undyne.

- He can’t be such an idiot. -

The flower gave up – How can you be so idiotic and sweet? -

- I am made of sugar – replied the kid, giggling as he rubbed two fingers together, and sugar fell from them. It seems his pokets were full of candies, no one knows why.

- Su… sugAR!!! IT WAS NOT a compliment! - Flowey hissed – And now leave me alone! -

- C’mon, c’mon… don’t be mad at me, come out and let’s go for a walk… or right, you don’t have legs. -

- I can’t get out of this soil! Not with my roots in these conditions!! - the flower pulled out its roots, showing that they were consumed by something, broken and with a purplish shade. - That bitch! She damaged me, and put me in this stupid field so I wouldn’t die on her!! First the damage, then the stupid excuse not to become a murderer!! -

Wave simply picked him up, like anyone who would pick any flower.

- YOU CAN’T…. oh, wait… I’m ok? - He felt a physical well being when the kid placed him on his shoulder – I’m alive! And I’m ok!! ...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU? -

- I am Wave! Did you forget? - he smiled.

- But!! You!! I’d strangle you! But you would laugh about it! ...I can’t win against an idiot, what a joke… -

Flowey interwined himself around him and moved behind Wave’s neck.

- At least now I have a shield. -

Meantime, on the outside..

- Oh, perfect – Undyne stated – more work for me… how much weight do I have to put on myself? -

- Help me!! - Alphys cried, pushing the door.

- Why?!? - Stammered Scar, helping her.

- I can’t let them go until I fixed them! - continued the scientist, pushing with all her might.

- You can’t let them go? - Undyne asked – they don’t seem that dangerous. -

- Listen, Undyne.. I made mistakes with you, Scar and the others, I’m not making more mistakes! -

- Alphys, I know this is not the right time, but one day you have to explain me what happeend! -

In that moment, the door flung open, moving the two like they were feathers. Tecnically, a dinosaur who wasn’t really fit and a birdie that didn’t weight more than 20kg weren’t the best candidates to keep the room closed.

- I’m ready to go home!! Why are you on the floor? - asked Wave, staring at the two.

Flowey hissed at Alphys. Scar had the face of someone who was ready to attack, but Undyne stopped her by lifting her up.

- Ok, ok, everyone just chill… first of all, we need to talk… - Undyne started, picking up also Alphys – And, for Wave and Flowey… just stay put! -

- Why would I do that? - was starting Flowey, before Wave obeyed sitting like a dog would – YOU IDIOT AT LEAST WAIT FOR ME TO FINISH TALKING! -

- Ahh, this will cause me lots of problems… - sighed Undyne, going in the elevator with Alphys and Scar.

Some time after, she returned alone to Wave.

- Now, let’s see… - she started, pushing Wave’s face on the floor – You stupid, do you have any idea of how much I looked for you?!!? -

- But everything’s fine!! - Wave sprung back up, sparkly – Undyne, what happened? I don’t remember much. -

- YOU? You don’t know? You resetted the timeline! You pressed the reset! -

The flower’s face became horrifying.

- We went back in time, but somethings different! What did you do!! -

- Mhh.. I pressed a button with the word “ RESET “ on it! -

- ...I will repeat it. - Flowey sighed heavily – You pressed reset, but we went back with some differences. -

- Wave doesn’t understand! - Wave smiled .

- I give up. Fish, listen. Do you remember some weird feeling? When you fought Chara, like, some sort of deja vu? Well, that is the reset. -

- But! And you say it NOW!?! -

After a short instance, Undyne wrapped her hand around Flowey, and three floating buttons appeared on each of the three’s heads. A (T) was glowing on top of Flowey, a (RE) was glowing for Wave, a (SE) for Undyne.

- ...what...are...these? - Undyne breathed.

- THIS THING IS NEW. - Flowey shouted.

- WHAT IS IT?? - Undyne echoed.

- The RESET, remember? - Flowey said with a scary face, as Wave was playing with his button.

- This thing is flying!! -

- IT’S NOT A GAME! - both Undyne and Flowey scolded him – It’s the strongest power in the underground! -

- Ok, enough for today – Undyne interrupted Flowey.

- What does it mean, “ enough for today “?? You asked!!! And I was explaining!! -

- Yes yes yes. Now let’s go home. OH, get off Wave, or I’ll make tea outta you!! -

- We will be the best of friends! - Wave giggled

underrole chapter 2-3

Scar got hold of Undyne, she knew the warrior would’ve ran to Alphys, so she anchored her feet to the ground trying to stop her, but Undyne started to run. What did Scar expect? She was too light to stop such an amount of impulsiveness like Undyne’s. She sped inside the cave, the place completely different: crystalized flowers filled the scenery, gems on the ceiling were reflected on the water, giving a smal dim light to an otherwise dark place, ice on the ground made it slippery but Undyne didn’t care. The ice crushed as she ran. The hailstorm vanished at her passage as poor Scar struggled to hold on. In no time they reached the totally frozen waterfall that blocked the passage.

The bird girl flew away for a few meters as Undyne suddenly stopped.

- But, this wasn’t here! Where are the Hotlands? -

Scar shook her head, still numb from the rush.

- We’re exactly under the waterfall, but you’ll have to use the ropes, and not everyone can since you need training for that. -

On the right of the Waterfalls some ropes ran downwards the rocky wall, touching the floor, dirty and worn out.

- Unluckily the pulley froze some time ago and Alphys has to fix it. -

Without any further a due Undyne got hold of a rope, and tried to climb, but the rope gave in under her weight making her sadly fall on her butt.

- Undyne!! - Scar cried, rushing to her – I had to warn you that these are old… And I’m not strong enough to carry you up. I’ll go check, you wait here! -

She spread her wings, covering them with ice and took off.

- I didn’t think I got this fat tho. - she commented to herself, hitting the wall – This isn’t good. -

After the blow, Undyne looked down to her hand, she didn’t feel anyhing… Maybe she could.. She always wanted to.   She started to climb the wall using her claws as grapples, she was trained and that kind of physical exercise wasn’t a big deal for her.

- Well, this is useful! -

Clunk after clunk she was reaching the top, she could see a light from up there. She climbed as faster as she could, and she arrived with a last push.

A garden appeared in front of her very eyes: fruits and vegetables everywhere, she didn’t remember the hotlands to be this way, lava only barely warmed the ice surroundings. Undyne walked in the garden, joining Scar.

- Argh, I hate the hotlands.. - she heard her say, as she rang the doorbell of Alphy’s lab, but no one opened - And now what?? -

The front door was huge, and very heavy, it was impossible to open by hand. But that was quickly solved since Undyne rushed in and slammed the door open with a thud of her her shoulder.

- Alphys! -

Scar was shook by how fast and strong Undyne was, how did she even get up there? But her cry made her mind go right back to the issue. She walked in, inspecting the area.

- I don’t understand. She never leaves the lab! -

Undyne quickly bashed in the bathroom door, as is she knew where to look.

- Undyne…? -

An elevator appeared before Scar and seeing Undyne enter she followed right behind. When they went downstairs, the scene that appeared as the doors opened made Undyne tear up. An idiot in an orange sweatshirt and Alphys panicking. The woman let out a small giggle that swept away all of her worries.

It looked like Wave just woke up, scaring to death Alphys that went into panic. It really looked like a comedy: papers everywhere, Alphys scared and Wave that wasn’t understanding. Undyne thought, she wanted to be angry, but angry for what? If she was, she wasn’t anymore anyway. Scar, being younger and unexperienced, threw herself on Wave using her wings as blades. Wave lowered himself, making Scar crash against a bed. It was better than a comedy! Scar threw herself in a second attack that Wave avoided easily, then another, and another, and another, the kid more interested into seeing her move than fight, and poor Undyne was doing her best not to laugh. The battle finished a few seconds later, when Wave glomped Scar in a hug form behind, blocking her in a letal clasp.

- DON’T TOUCH ME!!! - the birdie was shouting, hitting Wave’s hands as the kid laughed and had fun. Undyne could lift them both as they argued.

- Never, never!! He never woke up, why now! -

- Alphys! You made another one?? - Undyne tried to look serious and angry, but it was so hard in that moment.

- I don’t know, I had it, I think! I dunno!! - the small dinosaur squealed, panicking around in her white lab coat, her tail waggling everywhere as she frantically gestured and walked. - I don’t understand anything anymore! I don’t even remember how I did it! I’m sorry Undyne, I screwed up as usual! -

Undyne took a deep breath, she already knew everything, or almost. Gently, she picked her up from her tail, and spoke.

- We’ll talk later, ok? Now let’s think of those two. -

Alphys sighed.

- Do you think Scar can defeat him? -

Undyne turned Alphys so she could face the two.

- More than beating each other, I think we should find something to free her. -

The little bird was frantically flapping her wings, trying to get free from Wave. She fleed to Alphys, then gave a hit to a glass that changed the atmosphere, and a shriek.

- Lemme out!! Lemme OUT!!!!!! - echoed

Wave disappeared, attracted by a familiar voice. Undyne ran after him, after gently setting down Alphys, Scar and Alphys needed a few seconds before following right after. thanks again to @nephdetermined that help me with this project.  im so happy ;w;

Day 7

I’m stilll here writing, even if now I’m chill… probably the punk in my head is making my bed burn, literally… I went to the dump to get a metal one, and now I sleep outside. Oh! I saw Gerson, the shop keeper that was my mentor, to be a turtle he is fast at understanding the situation. “ You should learn to live along with the changes “, he said. I wonder what he meant.

By the way, I met the human: a kid with purple eyes and hair, very tall and kinda good looking. It was weird, I thought humans were small and chubby, this kid impressed me. He was helping in Gerson’s shop and was running back and forth getting stuff that was falling from the shelves. How funny. He was shocked when he saw me, really surprised, but I can’t blame him. Even without a war, some monsters are still interested into collecting souls.

We have three souls as of now: the first one, belonged to a girl of which I don’t know the name, but her soul is blue. She died of age (I don’t know what it means). The second kid; I’ll call him gunslinger because he always used a gun. He died from the attack of the shadows with Asriel… poor king, his son died here as well… Third and last… mhh, I don’t remember, was it orange? Or maybe red? …..no, it was torquoise! I can’t remember anything else.

I have to remember to ask that kid’s name… Wave is close, I don’t know where, but he’s close. I must visit Sans, he could have some answers. It’s weird that I haven’t seen him around yet, he’s always on breaks.

Day 16

Good news, the punk in my head is getting tired of these fights because since I don’t hit her nothing happens, and if she hits me she gets hurt so we’re getting bored. I was surprised to see Sans wandering everywhere without his brother, the thing that really bothers me is that he’s the captain of the royal guard, but remembering his fighting style I can’t really say much about this decision. He tried to make a prank on me, but I saw him coming; he can appear in the most unexpected places but now I can sense him. Scar is stuck on me, I really like this little one, always worried for me.

Hold on, Undyne, a few more weeks and they will make me leave these caves. It’s dangerous Undyne… until you don’t recall how to fight you can’t face them, we can’t risk… we’re so few now…

Day 25

I’m getting annoyed… Scar is coming to give me lessons everyday… Books!! I read so many!!! Oh right, the kid’s name is Ryo, it looks like the royal guard is using the iron fist to keep him safe, to be humans sucks apparently.

Wave is there, I can feel it.

Day 40

Tomorrow I can get out. My hands are quivering. In these long weeks I learned lots of things, first and foremost is that nothing is like before. The second, is that I have to look for the ones I lost. The third, Sans knows something, he always misleads me during our conversations, but I hinted to something that I knew he had knowledge of and I received reactions from him.  

Day 41

Weeks have passed, and I still have to write on this diary after I went mad the first day, how was I supposed to know?

Well, tomorrow it beings.

Undyne closes her diary and tries to sleep. That morning wasn’t like the others, she woke up earlier, wore heavier clothes and got ready to go out. Undyne didn’t need heavy clothes since she couldn’t feel anything, but she decided to wear them for precaution: not feeling didn’t mean being immune.

- It’s time to go – she said, before opening the door. As soon as she did that, Scar landed on her face.

- Hey Undyne!! How’s your amnesy? - the bird asked, looking at the woman who landed on the floor with her.

- Impetuos as usual, huh? - Undyne replied with a smile, but seeing Scar’s expression shift to worried and concerned make that smile fade. Weeks have passed, and that same expression was the one given to her. Undyne was sick of it, so she got a grip of her shoulders and stood up.

- Enough with that face, today we will go outiside and we will show Asgore what we can do! Maybe he will promote us immediately. -

Scar wasn’t very convinced, but that enthusiasm fired her up as she started to flap her wings to get free from the woman’s grip, as she squeaked.

- Y...Yes!!! And then we’ll go get something at the market!!! -

The market was a very mysterious place, Scar always spoke about it but Undyne didn’t remember one.. the situation however changed when they heard a scream from Alphys echoing in the cave.  a small chapter waiting the bigs ones!!! thanks again to @nephdetermined for the help :O:!!!! we can do it! i hope

UNDERROLE 2-1 THE NEW START

Undyne was writing in her diary..

6th week. Weeks have passed, and I still have to write on this diary after I went mad the first day, how was I supposed to know?

Day 1. Let’s write on this dairy everything I remember or Asgore will remove me… right… remove me from the royal guard. I can’t believe this!!! I’ll have to start from the bottom if he does that! This morning I woke up yelling, ready to hit that … but nothing, I was at home, confused. I looked around, thinking it was a dream: my armor on a pedestal, my piano was there in the corner as usual, and everything seemed fine. I was about to go out, putting my armor on, but I had the feeling I got fatter. However, slipping it off I realized what was happening. My soul, let’s say it emerged on my chest: it’s hard like a rock, and it glows red, it’s so weird.. three things, fragments, are attached to it and ominous lines are connected to them. Two are on my shoulders, and one runs downards towards by stomach. I tried to wash them away, and scratch them off, but they’re really stiff. When I scratched myself I realized it wasn’t a dream. Hands, feet, face and tongue, I can’t feel anything. I didn’t have time for that, I had to find the others so I ran outside. A little runt that I remember well started showering me with compliments, saying that he believed in me, and that I would become captain of the royal guard, what a funny thing. A weird thing, is that I can’t feel myself breathing. Next to the lab, a little bird assaulted me, repeating things like “ Don’t go to Alphys, you’re not stable yet, don’t do anything stupid “. Her name is Scar, and it’s a little one that resembles a bird: her body is blue like the waterfalls, and covered in feathers, her hands are wings but I discovered that she can create claws covering herself in ice. Peculiar thing is, she seems made of air, never saw anyone so light. She also has long and purple hair, kinda looks like a plushie. I didn’t go to Alphys for unknown reasons, but then I understood. Scar started calling for help and Asgore rushed outside the lab stopping me. I was really agitated, and a single hit on my head was able to knock me out, even though modestly I was dragging them both for a while, I’m pretty strong. After that? I found her in my dreams, and I went crazy. I punched her but for some reason it looks like I set my hand on fire and Asgore and the other shut me off. I remember. I was fighting, Wave presses a button and… and… puff… Now Scar appeared, Wave is gone, and… and… Alphys seems to have been doing experiments on the souls, and I’m upset also because she experimented on Scar for who knows which reason, issues with her birth or something like that. Papyrus isn’t here. Muffet has a shop of something. No war. There are… there is, a human in the Underground. . . . . . . Undyne put back the shirt and walked out, thinking to herself. Alphys, Asgore, Sans and Wave… She started to run for the lab, watching and observing her surroundings. Everyone was normal, more than normal: nobody was scared, nobody was in her way, until Monster Kid crossed her and she stopped before trampling over him.

- UNDYNE!!! UNDYNE!!! IT’S REALLY YOU!!! AND WITHOUT ARMOR!!! -

She kept walking without acknowledging him, but he trailed behind her, going in front of her.

- WAIT, WAIT WAIT!!! I KNOW THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE ROYAL GUARDS ARE STRONGER THAN YOU, BUT I KNOW YOU’RE GONNA MAKE IT, AND YOU GONNA BE THE CAPTAIN!!! YOU’RE SO COOL!!! AND ONE DAY I’LL BE JUSY LIKE YOU!!! -

Undyne took a small breath, and pat the kid on the head.

- Thanks… but I need to check something real fast!! -

She saluted, and dashed off. However, something was bothering her. Did he say that she “ was gonna become member of the royal guard “? Weird.

Near the lab something dawned on her from the sky and grabbed her arm.

- Undyne!! Asgore told you to calm down, and not to go to Alphys again, or you will loose it!! -

- What are you talking about?! - the woman struggled to get free. She stared at the flying monster who was tugging her back, flying above ground, she got the features of a bird, her body was water blue and had wavy long purple hair, wearing a small armor and a skirt.

- Who are you?!? And what are you doing!? -

- I’m Scar!!! You forgot? Undyne, why don’t you have your armor?? -

Undyne kept struggling to get rid of her – I need to see Alphys!!! -

- No!! Help, help!!! -

Asgore stepped out of the lab at the call, a severe look on his face as he saw Undyne, and went to block her. Undyne was only thinking about Alphys.

- I need to go!! -

Luckily she was strong enough to push them away, but they wouldn’t let go.

- Undyne, calm down!! It’s me!! Scar what happened? - asked Asgore

- I don’t know! She ran here asking for Alphys, and she doesn’t know who I am!! Something happened today! -

Asgore reluctant hit Undyne on the head, knocking her out. He sadly supported her, holding her hand.

- Sorry Undyne… you need to calm down. You’re going to hurt yourself. Scar, can you follow me please? I may need help later. - he said, starting to walk to Undyne’s house.

- Y-Yes!! But is she going to be fine? -

- Her head became harder to hit than before, that’s for sure. - the king mumbled as they kept walking, - I don’t know what happeend, but a good tea may calm her, it’s better to get her home before she wakes up. -

Scar still looked worried.

- She didn’t remember me.. -

- Don’t worry – Asgore smiled warmly, trying to comfort her – I know Undyne since she was young , she is just stressed about what happened with Alphys. -

- ...yes, she really liked her before that… - Scar sighed.

Meantime, Undyne started dreaming again…

Realizing she was at Snowdin, she wondered what was going on. As she turned around, she saw the creature who killed all of her friends.

- Chara. -

The demon was sitting on a rock, holding a knife, and grinned sickly.

- Welcome back. -

Undyne’s expression changed in a chocked smile.

- Another trick? -

Chara walked towards her till she could face her.

- Good night, Undyne! -

With a blow, she made her fly against a rock.

- Uwa??!!! -

- This is your mind! Empty as always!! -

Undyne eyes widened.. her... mind? She grinned, getting herself together, and launching herself against Chara.

- Then, if this is MY mind, I can win!!! -

Her fist started lighting up with flames, as she punched Chara in the face with all her might, light and warmth bursting almost unbearable.

(…)

- I didn’t think Undyne could be that strong.. - commented Scar, creating a claw out of thin air - she is very strong, maybe too strong, since she was pushing forward with both of us holding her back. -

Asgore chuckled.

- She is just a hot head, I always liked that part of her, but first and foremost, she needs to calm down before staying with us again. -

- One day she will be with us again. - Scar said, thoughtful.

- Patience, you have to stay calm.. you’re still young and both of you need a lot of training. -

In that instance Undyne’s hand ignited with fire, and Asgore grabbed her wrist.

- SCAR!! -

The bird girl turned her claw back to wings and grabbed her hand, letting hers melt like ice on the fire and shutting her off.

- W-What happened just now?? - she stammered.

- I don’t know. - The king looked at Undyne’s hand, black and smelling like burned skin, as Undyne slowly started to regain consciousness.

- It worked… -

She saw that she was being carried by Asgore, and Scar was beside them, both looking at her with a weird glare in their eyes.

Then she remembered.

- ...sorry!! -

Undyne scratched the back of her head with a guilty face, and she looked at Asgore.

- I… I was a little anxious and… -

Asgore stopped her thought.

- Don’t worry Undyne. Now let’s go home and see what happened to you and your hand. - HERE WE ARE AGAIN!!!  THANKS TO THE AMAZING! SPECTACULAR! CUTE AND SHY @nephdetermined  for help me as always !!!
