Scene Re-draw

I decied to test some brushes out so I thought the best way to do it was to so a scene re-draw in Underworld office.

Honestly it was very fun to do since I was testing what work and what didnt

Charlie finishing what Eugene couldn't

I had an idea that what if Charlie wanted Eugene to kill boss instead of Jack. Charlie would likely use the fact that if it wasn't for Boss, Eugene would still have a normal life, not having to worry about other people's promblems.

And when Eugene refuses Charlie takes hold of Eugene's body. My idea is that since Eugene's body if not protected by the flower would be a empty sack for some ghost to take. Granted Eugene would likely die or become attached to said ghost. And since the body is taken over by something as strong as a monster or a ghost filled with a strong emotion, Eugene's body with partly change in places where his spirt shows through. Which gave birth to this-

To celebrate River's birthday...

-Birthday River mini story-

Spoilers Ahead

Birthdays is something river isn't too fon of, it makes her feel old or more so-more old then already. But she gets a kick from the office trying to plan a not so secret surpise party.

River isn't a crier, but she couldn't help to tear up with given birthday gifts of flowers from sean. A plushed cat that seemed to have seen many things from its missimg button eye and poorly sitched patches from Hayden, Joan while not giving her anything went on a lengthy 'back in my day' speech that made River smile. Boss, begrudgingly being softer then normal gave River a millisecond hug and a firm pat on a back while saying something about never wanting to do that again, hiding his smile behind his fan. And Eugene, giving River a poorly drawn doodle of the office team. That made River cry.

River had agreed apon not beating up bad guys for a birthday activity while in mild disappointment, but it quickly faded her mind as Boss hauled the crew, River included is a small part of town free of some of more difficult monsters that the city held, to an animal shelter, (Hayden's idea) full of ghost kittens and cats that meowed and pushed themselves agaisnt River's legs purring loudly. River melted into a puddle of 'awe's' and quiet gasps of surprise as some kittens and cats decided that River's lap was the perfect place to sleep.

Then stories where invold quietly, funny stories of River's and Boss trying to 1 up each other in the early days of the underworld office, to times when River was still alive, speaking about her favorite drink from a small coffee shop next to station, or her favorite activy of sleeping after a long day at work. Joan even started to share stories other then her time in the military which made River snort and chuckle at the different tune and a light smack from Boss's fan.

When they did get back to the office, River was smiling brightly, still giggling at stories that embarrassed Boss just enough for him to glare at her, no hard feelings of course. And happy melodys from Hayden and Sean before they started to doze off, which did made Eugene question if ghost actually slept, which boss asked them to hold for tomorrow before sending Eugene back into their body sighing like a old father. That made River laugh, long and hard, teasing Boss in the process.

River concluded that this was the best birthday she had in a long time.

Had an idea of what Eugene would look like if he grew out his hair and this is what came out of it. I think I may have went a little over board with it. But it was fun non the less and i personally liked how it turned out.

-The Monsters Headcanons -

Spoilers Ahead

The monsters of the underworld office become monsters by many different reasons. Anger, revenge, guilt,ect, these beings cave in on themselves and their emotional distress until it consumed them.

These monsters are able to attach to people even if their not releated to them. They attach to people who have a strong emotions normally negative to form into nightmares, smillar to charlie.

Monsters are typically unable to hold a stable forn because they are lost and are going off their natural instinct and emotions and there unable to hold a huamnoid or animal shape.

Not every monster turned the way they are because they wanted to become one. Some turned because they felt like it was no other option. No point to trying when they were already dead.

This story was an amazing read, I adored the characterization and the writing. I loved how River was written.

I did a thing! I just had to write something on River breaking her promise for the second time, just to have at least some resemblance of an explanation… So, here’s a little scene taking place just after the Ghost from the Underworld Office ending.

-Boss Headcanons-

Spoilers Ahead

When Boss 'fired' Eugene was also the first time he was angry at himself. He felt idiotic,and ashamed to not have noticed Eugene's mental state until it was too late.

When discovering that Eugene was corrupted and turned into a monster, Boss wanted to kill Charlie. He didn't care if it made him gain more misdeeds he had to redeemed or if he turned into a monster himself. He just wanted to kill them, to get some justice.

Boss besides taking corruped Eugene under his wing to be the next owner of the office, it was also because he grew too attached to let them go. And when he saw at small flicker of hope a chance for Eugene to redeem himself, Boss took it.

Boss isn't someone who likes phyical affection. Years spent as a milltary officer in his mortal life taught him very quicky that getting to close to someone always ended them being painted with a target on their head. So he withdrew himself, became far closed off and reject any chances of phyical contact. Even if he really wanted someone to comfort him.

The first time Boss met Eugene after saving him from a monster, he was tempeted to get Eugene back into his body as quick as possible, not caring about debt or if Eugene was a good fit to the office, he didnt want to get attached. What changed his tune was that spark Eugene had, to become someone better.
