The   click   of   the   door   sounded ,   and   the   captain’s   heart   drummed   harshly   in   his   chest ,   there’s   a   mixture   of   excitement   and   anxiety   that   fought   over   his   mind ,   and   as   he   unbuttoned   his   overcoat   with   shaking   hands   his   mind   raced.     Clifton   didn’t   want   to   disappoint   Werner ,   but   he   knew   very   well   that   he   was   quite   rusty   when   it   came   to   intimacy ,   still   every   fiber   of   his   being   yearned   for   his   lover’s   touch   and   all   the   slow   loving   he’d   imagined   before   when   his   mind   wandered.     It   was   the   scent   of   cigar   smoke   that   snapped   him   from   his   haze ,   wafting   through   the   air ,   it   stung   his   nose   lightly   though   he   was   used   to   it   by   now   with   how   much   he   himself   smoked.     It   was   then   that   he   had   a   rather   mischievous   idea ,   a   sly   grin   curled   onto   his   muzzle   as   he   turned   and   strode   over   to   his   lover   to   snag   his   cigar ,   rolling   it   in   his   fingers   for   a   moment   before   taking   a   long   slow   draw.     He   held   the   smoke   in   for   a   moment   before   shotgunning   it   into   his   lover’s   mouth ,   while   handing   back   the   cigar   a   gentler   expression   overtook   his   face.     His   hand   slid   up   the   inventor’s   chest ,   making   its   way   up   to   cup   his   face   while   the   hound   cooed.

❝ Mm ,   what   did   I   do   to   be   lucky   enough   to   have   you   in   my   life ?     You’re   so   intelligent ,   kind ,   incredibly   cute   and   handsome.  .  .   You   really   understand   me ,   I   feel   at   peace   when   I’m   with   you.     I   love   you   so   much ,   Werner. ❞

[🔧]~             NIMBLE  FINGERS  wasted  no  time  locking  the  backroom  door,  brown  hues  of  his  eyes  focusing  on  the  attractive  frame  of  the  other  male.  Hands  shake,  knocking  a  trace  amount  of  ash  onto  the  floor  below.  Was  it  the  act  of  being  with  another  male  what  made  Werner  so  NERVOUS ?  Well,  maybe  a  little  (  if  only  for  his  INEXPERIENCE  with  the  matter  ).  This  impulsive  intimacy  was  something  new  to  Werner.  Although  he  knew  how  SUCH  AN  ACT  worked  (  despite  the  increase  of  care  that  would  have  to  go  due  to  both  being  male  ),  it  was  something  he  had  rarely  performed.  He  was  old  ———  hell,  he  considered  himself  older  than  old  despite  being  in  only  his  thirties.  The  idea  of  being  unsatisfactory  to  the  man  he  loved  SCARED  HIM.  

                  OF  COURSE,  all  that  fear  vanished  in  a  single  act.  Although  he  was  as  CONFUSED  as  he  was  CURIOUS  as  to  why  Clifton  took  his  cigar  mid-use,  it  soon  turned  to  arousal  an  odd  sense  of  pleasure  as  the  smoke  was  shot  into  his  own  mouth.  Eyes  growing  half  lidded,  a  slight  smile  worked  itself  onto  his  face  as  he  RELAXED,  practically   l e a n i n g   into  his  boyfriend’s  touch.

                 ❝   AND  I  .  .  .  AND  I  .  .  .   I  lof  you,  CLIFTON.  You .  .  .  You  haf  made  me  feel  vanted  for  first  time  in  many  yearz.  Made  me  feel  lofed,  and  velcomed,  even.  You  .  .  .  you  are  handsome .  .  .  and  strong .  .  .  and  ze  way  you  lauf  makez  me  zmile  like  idiot.  I  LOF  YOU  MORE  ZAN  ZE  STARZ  LOF  ZE  SKY.   ❞  He  leans  forward,  hovering  just  over  the  canine’s  muzzle.  There’s,  for  a  moment,  a  pause  of  uncertainty.  Yet  it  fades  to  warmth  as  he  gently  presses  their  lips  together.

Perhaps   he   would   have   said   more   had   he   not   been   so   nervous   to   ruin   the   mood ,   it   had   been   years   since   he’d   been   in   a   relationship   and   so   long   since   he’s   been   intimate   with   another.   To   say   he   was   a   bit   nervous   would   be   an   understatement ,   he   was   terrified.   But   at   the   same   time ,   he   was   more   excited   than   words   could   describe.   Heart   beat   like   a   drum   in   his   chest ,   and   his   bright   blue   eyes   shyly   avoided   is   lover’s   gaze   as   he   followed   him   to   the   aforementioned   back   room.

[🔧]~             HEART  PATTERING  within  his  chest,  the  rodent  could  feel  his  own  pulse  surging  through  his  finger  tips.  He  shouldn’t  have  been  so  nervous  ———  but  he  couldn’t  help  but  be  AFRAID  that  he’d  ruin  the  only  thing  as  of  late  that’s  brought  him  happiness.  He  felt  things  for  the  captain  —— HIS  CAPTAIN  ——  that  he  had  only  felt  perhaps   T W I C E   in  his  life.  HE  DIDN’T WISH  to  screw  up  chance  number  three.

                   UNLOCKING  THE  DOOR  &&  leading  his  boyfriend  inside,  Werner  took  a  puff  of  his  cigar  as  he   s l a m m e d   the  door  behind  him.  ❝   M-Make  yourself  at  home,  love.   ❞

❝ I   –   If   you’re   sure.   Um ,   where   did   you   want   to   f  –  fool   around ? ❞

The   captain   offers   a   sheepish   smile ,   heart   skipping   a   beat   as   he   holds   his   boyfriend’s   hand   carefully   in   his   own.   He   brushes   his   thumb   over   his   lover’s   hand   and   squeezes   it   tenderly ,   as   he   dares   to   move   a   bit   closer.

[🔧]~             ❝   I-I,  UH .  .  .  haf   b e d   in  ze  backroom.  Sh-should  be  BIG  ENOF  for  two !   ❞

                    A  LOW  SQUEAK  escapes  the  rat’s  throat  at  the  way  the  thumb  lovingly  stroked  his  gloved  hand.  His  chest  began  to  rise  with  his  UNSTEADY  BREATHS,  biting  down  ever-so-slightly  on  his  lip  as  his  own  face  grew  warm  from  just  how  his  boyfriend  made  him   f e e l.  ❝   Follow,  please.   ❞

He’s   shifting   uncomfortably ,   tugging   his   coat   down   over   his   groin   to   hide   the   source   of   his   discomfort.   The   hound   wasn’t   normally   this   needy ,   but   he   couldn’t   ignore   it   any   longer   as   it   was   beginning   to   hurt.   Slowly   he   begins   to   back   out   of   the   room ,   a   look   of   embarrassment   on   his   complexion.

                     IT’S  NOT  HARD  for  the  rodent  to  notice  the  other’s  discomfort,  from  the  way  he  hid  his  need,  to  the  flustered  heat  pooling  in  his  face,  to  even  the  way  he  began  to  back  away  in  SHAME.  Gulping  slightly,  Werner  was  quick  to  reach  out  and  take  his  lover  by  the  hand.  ❝  I .  .  .  I-I  need  a  break  anyvay,  love.
