NICHELINK FLAG - PNG TEMPLATE

I know a couple formats of template (including svg and full pngs plus individual symbols) exist over on @nichelink, but since my favourite format is individual layer pngs and I've been making a few nichelink flags myself, I decided to make a template in said format!

Grandparent+(Grand)Child: an All-Ages nichelink relationship/relationship dynamic where one person is the "(grand)child" and the other/s are the "grandparent/s."

this is a subset of Familial Nichelink. this relationship may include, but isn't limited to:

liking the appeal of Parent+Child but wanting a slightly different relationship with room for less responsibility/obligation, or having a larger (mental or bodily) age gap

attraction terms like familial, cedural, tutelary etc

people who identify as "found family"

the child being an age regressor/dreamer, age slider, chronosian, dissoage, desirchild/desirpermachild etc etc

the grandparent identifying with grandmacore/grandpacore aesthetics, the child identifying with kidcore aesthetics

the child being spoiled by the grandparent in similar ways to grandparents in real life

i based the flag off of existing familial nichelink flags (keeping the red stripe, although muted on this one), grandmacore images, and the colour of werther's originals lol

Cousin+Cousin or Cousin Nichelink: an All-Ages nichelink relationship/relationship dynamic where the people in relationship consider themselves cousins and want to emulate that relationship.

this is a subset of Familial Nichelink. this relationship may include but is not limited to:

liking the appeal of Sibling+Sibling but wanting a less directly connected relationship with room for less responsibility/obligation

attraction terms familial, cedural, tutelary etc

people who identify as "found family" in a more distant sense

being desirfamily, dissofamily, dissoage etc

nichelink coining

this flag is intentionally similar to the Sibling+Sibling nichelink flag, using the exact same red stripe on the top and bottom

can you make some more specific versions of the familial nichelink term? like cousins, (adoptive/half/in-laws) siblings, (grand)parents, child+parent, etc?

working on a couple of these right now (honouring the wishes of the nichelink acc i won't be doing adopted terms btw), but just in case you didn't know, there are a couple out there alright!

Game Master+Player: an All-Ages nichelink relationship/relationship dynamic where one person is the "game master" and the other/s are the "player."

"game master" can be swapped for "dungeon master," "warden," or any other specific word for a game's storyteller/leader that fits you.

this may include, but is not limited to:

both/all of the people in the relationship being involved in a tabletop, larp, or other story-based game together

the people in the relationship relating to other dynamics such as Romanceable NPC+Player or Fictional Character+Fan but not quite fitting them exactly

non-rose/tertiary attraction like performer/performee, etc

the player being dissomei, desirdae, intusui, or similar terms

i've noticed i have a pretty unique relationship with my tabletop players, outside of just being friends, so i thought this term might get some use from those like me :)

DEHUMANIZATION HOLDER - ALT FLAG

this term really connected with a couple of my facets, so i wanted to make an alternate to the original version that had some more symbolism for me.

Symbolism and inspiration below the cut!

I pulled colour and symbolism inspiration from the Voidpunk flag, the Nonhuman Unity Flag, and this Alterhuman flag. Voidpunk was especially influential here, as its community and flag focus on the reclamation of all forms of dehumanization.

Here's what I intend the colours to represent, with some of my symbolism lifted directly from the flags that inspired this one:

The green on the bottom represents the earth, terrestrial animals, plants, and other creatures connected to nature. It also represents those whose dehumanization is connected to their aromanticism or neurodivergency.

The purple on top represents more supernatural, paranormal, and mysterious beings - those of us a little more distant from reality. It also represents those whose dehumanization is connected to their asexuality or nonbinary identity.

The white represents those whose dehumanization is either divine or mechanical/robotic in nature. It also represents the vastness of experiences and identities one might find when looking outside of just humanity.

The black represents the void and a complete lack of humanity, as well as anyone who has been deemed unholy or lesser than because of their dehumanization

The black and white mirroring each other represent both the beauty that can be found and the loss that can be experienced as a result of being dehumanized.

I haven't seen one of these around yet, so I took a crack at making a clean template for people to colour into role flags. Anyone can use, no credit needed, have fun!
