Google Campuses

If Adobe Systems has a campus... well... you know it. So, does Google.

Google Campus are campuses that caters educating people in entrepreneurship and runs like any other campus. With the Google campus amenities differ in each countries but has provisions for the students to be inspired to learn and aspire to be great models.

Just like Adobe Campus Leader, Google Campus (especially Campus Seoul) would be a great place for me to work at. In which, I can learn more and, maybe teach about Human Resource Management. =)

The Future to Google Headquarters

Google Headquarters of the future will be a great place to work at. Look at it as how it is so creatively designed to inspire innovations of tomorrow. Not only does it give creative juices by looking at it but also to allows you to run through the motions by being active (well, I hope so). Though, this futuristic headquarters of Google is just a design, I definitely know that I want to work for such company and if I can’t... Well, I’d love a tour of it.

Among all the Adobe, there is a Campus

Naturally, in building a home, there are the foundations and the roof to be built. Well, Adobe has created a big home... The company created an extension to harbor great minds for the future. Adobe Systems’ extension is the Adobe Campus Leader.

I mean, look at all the greatness and campus-feel  that Adobe has created in Lehi, Utah. After graduation, I will be aiming to be part of the Adobe Campus Leader either to work or to study or may be both (mostly both). I mean, look at the campus Adobe Systems have built, there is a foundation for great minds to grow, expand and lead the future.

Typically Offices with Popping Colors

Adobe Systems’ company in  San Francisco has eye-popping designs is very unique. To me, I can sense a little bit of confusion but in a cool way. I was just attracted by the design of their office because the amenities in the picture. With such a plain sight, there is something unique about Adobe Systems. I believe they care for their workers’ needs really well. Like how the two kitchens are uniquely different and wide compared to the “traditional” office kitchen/break room. I really wouldn’t mind eating and talking with my fellow co-workers in such kitchen during work hours.

I do hope that the kitchen has a wide variety. *crossing my fingers*

Building Blocks of a Global Software

Adobe Systems is a globally known software developing company that created Photoshop, Dreamweaver and much more. With the headquarters is located in northern California city, San Jose; yet, the company has another office in San Francisco in SoMa District.

Building Exterior - Bleh... Interior - Hmm...

In San Jose, California, USA, is the location of the Adobe Systems Headquarters. But when looking at the picture of Adobe Systems building, the exterior is bland, traditional and boring. Even if Adobe Systems takes on the twist of adding new locations and new look of their building, Adobe Systems must have a way to be part of my pick as a Unique Office...

To my belief, Adobe Systems disguised themselves in the concrete boring-ness of the construction, the employees turn on their creativity with the unique interiors, which gives inspiration.

Minimalism Office at it’s Best

Truthfully, Architects Selgas and Cano’s design of their tunnel-like practice attracts me to work in such environment. I love the minimal and open design of the office. With the minimalism as the core of the structure of the building makes it easier to work in. Since there are less bulkier furniture and the open-shelving makes it easier to look for things needed.

The big window on the south-facing is an eye-opener. To me, I believe that it opens the eyes of those who are stressed. Additionally, being close to nature, I believe that it will help the employees relax.

Tunnel-like Office Space

Selgas and Cano designed the office into a tunnel-like space with a 20mm thick, curved window made of transparent acrylic forms the north-facing wall. As of the south-facing wall is constructed from a 110mm thick, insulated, fiber-glass and polyester sandwich, offering shade from direct sunlight.

The unique thing about the office is the hinged opening. In which, opens the one end of the building with a weighted pulley mechanism and allows the varied degrees of natural ventilation of the woods.

Be One with the Nature

Yes... it looks eerie being in the wood during the night...

I mean, you don’t always have to be working overtime... you can always come a little early and get off work early. If you are staying later, just have someone stay with you.

But imagine being close to Mother Earth while working. At which, during breaks you can drink coffee while looking at beautiful scene of the forest and be relax. Take in the nature.

Curious are we...

Here is SelgasCano Architecture Office...

Architects Selgas and Cano take in the nature have the busy world of business be incorporated to aid the employees a stress-free environment and catering the Earth.  As you can see above, the building’s exterior is very different from the normal high-rise constructions. Even the location is unique being built in the woods is very much uncommon for an office.

Even though, the building does go away from the “traditional” set up of an office. In which, the same lined-up tables and chairs as other “traditional” office space. Yet, the sense of SelgasCano office has a different aspect that can be seen that “less is better.” In an instance, you can see the minimalism set as the interior of the office, which allows easy access.

Office in Nature

Well, in Madrid, Spain... you can do both. Two Spanish architects built their office in the woods just near to the fashion capital of Spain. These two architects are Jose Selgas and Lucia Cano of SelgasCano; the design of the office is for their architecture practice.
