PHOTOSHOOT STORYBOARD
To ensure my garment is modelled perfectly, i created a photoshoot storyboard/moodboard- this shows the vibes i’m going for with the modelling. my photoshoot will be at cannon hall, the look i’m going for is quite light makeup, with curly hair. A lot of my poses are stand still but give of rich vibes.

SEWING
Here is me sewing my frills together, while working on my sleeves i found it easier to create the ruffles then it was with the calico, i also feel the fringing adds the detail that it needs and it adds more colour to my garment. When creating the ruffles, i measure them as i pull the thread until it measures 28cm.

FINAL DESIGN BOARDS
These are my final design boards, i like how they came out with the background inspired by another page of my sketchbook. The one of the board by itself is my final design, i included my spec drawing and print of that one to make it more technical.

SLEEVES OF FINAL GARMENT
These are the sleeves i made for the final piece, i like how they turned out they add a lot of movement into my garment which i really like. they were quite hard to make but im glad they turned out good.

LAYPLAN
I did my layplan in sections because it wouldn’t all fit where i did it.
When doing my lay plan, i made sure to measure the straight of grain for all of them, i also made sure to leave enough space between each pattern piece so that i could add seam allowance.
I used around 5 metres of fabric for my final piece.

BOARD IDEAS
I tested out different board ideas for my portfolio, it’s important to test different ideas to see what i like best some were too basic for me, i tried blowing my designs up and it worked well for my boards.

CUSTOMER PROFILE BOARD
My customer for this exhibition is Cannon Hall, museum and gardens. Cannon Hall is an artefact of the spencer and stanhope family who lived in the hall, the hall is a vintage and sophisticated area to be in. The family who lived here is the 17th and 18th century.
The library was added in the 1760s by john spencer, who loved to read. this family was also very creative and artistic. hence the artwork in the museum.
The look of the museum is very vintage with artefacts on display for the public.

MEDIA EXPERIMENTATION
On a few of my designs, i experimented using watercolours, i found it hard to blend with and i think it makes my designs seem dull, but im glad i tried it.
