Abandoning this blog

I've been seeing a couple of posts about leaving the corpverse, and I'm finally going to do the same. Let's start from the beginning.

I joined the corpverse because I know one of the blogs IRL, and from what I had seen so far, it seemed fun! I asked to be invited to the corpverse discord server, and encountered my first problem:

The name of the server is "F*g Club". No, not with the censoring. I do not know if it has been changed since then, but for people who aren't comfortable with that term? Ooo boy, it was like a pan to the face.

I was only really aware of bing and google at the time, and their posts were just banter. I though the rest of the gimmicks would be like that. I was very very wrong. There are sex jokes, suicide jokes, eating disorder jokes, hell even SA jokes. Jokes about trauma are frequent. Yes, this would be fine in the right group. But to join a server not knowing what to expect and get blasted in the face with it was horrible. I left after less than a week.

Then there's the projects. I loved the idea of them at first. I started up a website for it! But all of the projects are badly managed and get dropped quickly. Not only that, the server for the gimmickverse show was just a vent server. Moderation has fallen apart. On that note, I am dropping/leaving any projects, sorry! No websites anymore :p

Most people here are minors - or minors pretending to be adults. Why the hell is there a shared. pornhub. account. Which I have many issues with, some of which I will not share for their privacy.

Then, the topics in the servers are...odd. Trauma venting in main channels, sex roleplays, you name it.

Speaking of role plays! Some blogs have adopted whole other identities in the name of it being a roleplay, but never really specifying it was a roleplay and putting the assumption what they are saying is true.

I have an issue with one blog in particular. They have lied about things like their race, their life experiences, and their age. I don't usually mind people lying about their age online, as long as they aren't going into adult spaces and such. However, this crossed the line. I seriously considered talking to the school about them (they go to the same one as me), it was pretty bad. A couple of my friends found their blog and dug through it, only turning up more and more lies with every post. In a vent server, they talked extensively about childhood abuse they had gone through, and when I reached out to them, genuinely concerned, all the messages disappeared. They told my friend they were partially asian, say they are online, and told me it was a lie. While a lot of advice they give could be genuinely useful, it's all built on lies.

I have so many issues with the state of the gimmickverse. I'll reply to any additions/things related to this post, but you probably won't see me anymore.

some regular systems (traumagenic) might use endogenic label as a coping mechanism. thats totally fine.

true endogenocy, including tulpagenocy, is not real, nor valid. dissociative disorders REQUIRE a pretty severe amount of early childhood trauma to form.

they are never fun and games. i hate mine, and i prefer to pretend it doesnt exist. to anyone, even myself, i dont have one.

endogenocy is glorifying and romanticizing my sickness.

i will never support it.
