Final skeches on how to brew the tea

In addition, I was also doing some sketches with ideas about the steps you have to follow to make the tea. And as you can see, they are basic figures but it makes a big difference between the steps that I want to add to the box, the maximum number of sketches that I want to add is the 4 essential steps with a shop caption. Of all of them, the most satisfied with the design is the third one, beautiful and quite simple.

I got my inspiration from the box of Thai tea that I had found in the store with its simple illustrations.

Logo Experimentation

As part of my project I have to design a logo with the name of my tea brand so first I was experimenting with many basic shapes and little by little I added small details until you were satisfied with the final result. If you notice any of them I was playing with the tones of the two main colors that I am going to use to put the information. And above all, I used 3 different fonts to compare each one of them, at first I had in mind that I wanted to use a font that was elegant and fine at the same time because I have always related it that way. Although I have seen so many typefaces of different thicknesses and layouts of all kinds, I was inspired a bit by the visual search that I have done during this project. Of all of them, what caught their attention is that it has a dark blue ring due to the position of the letters and the small element of the leaves, and then I liked the painting that has the flower in the middle of the name in Chinese and English. Although the dark blue I would have to make some changes to give the design more potential but if I have to stay with one, I choose the box that has round corners and has an extra ring so it makes the logo look big.

Test Print

This experiment consists of further developing the ideas of how the packaging itself would look with all the designs that I had previously experimented with. The design that stands out the most for me of all of them is from the first photo, it is that it is the flower that I had created in the stencil and the box that has the design of a petal with triangles in the corners of the design works quite well with the pattern created. Likewise, I was also playing with the type of font that I had chosen, which were 3, some of them were bold, another was a final typeface and the other typefaces were similar but the thickness of the font was changed, you were a little thicker than the previous one. For the brand name, I wasn’t sure I only wanted the first letters in upper case but after experimenting I think it looks better if the brand name is more upper case as it makes it easier to read.

On the other hand, I found a problem after printing in the ingredients and nutrition section, they are read backwards, so it is something that I have to take into account for my next print Another mistake that I made was that the text does not have to be very glued to square and center all squares or stickers in the center of the template.

Symbol Meanings: Chinese people believe that using auspicious symbols and motifs on decorative arts, clothing, chinaware, and other objects they use in their surroundings can increase the likelihood of better wealth, health, opportunities, careers, relationships, and so on.

Stylized Chinese Circle Symbols

The circle symbolises harmony, the harmony of yin and yang, and the duality of nature. It is a fundamental component of Taoism and Chinese medicinal philosophy. Chinese culture and visual arts have been profoundly affected by it. They frequently combine several auspicious elements to increase the possibility that their dreams or aspirations would come true. For example, they could combine the Chinese symbolic character “卍” (ten thousand) with the word "bats," which is a homophone for good luck, to signify that the positive benefits will be multiplied.

Test print comparing sizes

The size in which I print was A3 but the difference when printing that is the small box is that it is not enlarged. On the other hand, when they made the increase, the whole pattern became larger and the box is even larger. On the one hand, I didn't dislike the fact that the box was a little bigger, but what I didn't like was that the wings were too big, since in case the design has a medium size. After thinking about it, not with the option to print without increasing or adjusting to that size, so the final outcome will be with the small box.

Boxes

This experiment consists of seeing how the 7 designs that I have created would look like using light and dark background colours and vice versa changing the colour of the design. Also, compare the difference between a normal A3 main test to an A3 in that the box is adjusted and increased so the box would be a little bigger, the difference between these two sizes is a demo but I noticed that the design increased a little more and that is something that I did not like since the design itself is of medium size. From my point of view, I consider that I like that the pattern is pastel blue and the background is dark blue, in such a way that I think it will look better because the cream colour will also be used in which it will be as a sticker with all the main information.

I also went to Holland and Barrett where they sell tea but it tells me that the section they had was organic and my tea is not going to be organic and I want everyone to be able to buy it. I photographed the brown box because the idea I was experiencing at that moment the house looks similar but not as wide in width but a little taller. However, in one of the packages that was on the store shelf, I liked it a lot because it said tomorrow's tea and it is something that I have to think about at what time you can take the teas.
