Hello. I'm doing alright, thanks for asking :)

Kuraima's hair is bleach white. He hides it as much as he can, since its color can be taken as a sickness symptom, and a sick bodyguard doesn't inspire much reliability, does he?

He only takes off his hat around Clarice, and when they're alone.

Speaking of her, Clarice has a mild preference for punk rock. She also enjoys other types of rock, classic and jazz.

Unfortunately Karl cannot untie his hair – it's made of resin just like the rest of his body. The best I can offer you would be Karu, who will hopefully fulfill your curiosity.

Not really. TG's SDL version happens to be a ninja, even though stealth isn't something he's proficient at.

Thanks for the interest! Castle of Nations is a personal project I've had for over  6-7 years now. Basically it's about a girl who finds this very odd theme park named Castle of Nations.

I happened to use some of the characters for OCTs, but both competitions have absolutely no relation to the main story other than the OC themselves.

Castle of Nations hasn't been publically released yet, aside a couple comic pages and character concepts.

I could mention, aside the Pirate Island and the Haunted Grounds: Nations Boulevard, Medieval Square and Fantasy Lake. There are others, but those are to be unlocked later =P

When the park was still open they would be generally more discreet and return to where they belong. Nowadays they don't bother all too much – some of them do, others don't. Some stay in the same position all the time. It depends on the statue and how proactive they are.

Karl wouldn't react at all. No one did.

After her first visit, she goes to the park on an irregular but constant frequency. Karl and Clarice aren't on the best terms, but they put up with each other whenever that deems necessary.

Yes, there are several CoN characters that haven't been publically released yet. Hopefully you'll get to meet them in due time :D

Well, he's the only one made of cloth. Mannequins aren't too common in theme parks, and the others from the Medieval Square are made of wireframe.

Dahlia is the second in command within the park and usually works as a messenger or substitute for Castle. She's from the park, and originally a dark ride animatronic.

Yes, it's true. While they may have personal motives for being hostile, it often involves the treatment humans gave to them. But not all of them dislike humans. TG, for example, lies between neutral and friendly. He may end up injuring people accidentally, but his opinion is independent of whether someone's human or not.

He isn't afraid of them, though! His problem isn't with mirrors, it's with his scar. He avoids mirrors because the tendency to make eye contact with a reflection is normal and involuntary. However, if he finds a reflective surface to be necessary, he usually focuses his sight somewhere other than his face, or cover his scar with his hand :)

Haha, as I said before, he's hardly the worst I have to deal with =P Karl tolerates everyone around here for the same reason everyone tolerates him: he's not the strongest, fastest or blood-thirstiest, even. So they're all in a constant Mexican standoff state (spaghetti western soundtrack is optional).

What do I think? Uh, are you sure you would like to know that?

Well, okay...

Turning any Castle of Nations resident into a human is impossible. The Castle of Nations' magic has one main weakness, and that is directly related with human beings. If a necromancer or wizard or anything pushed Karl's soul into a living body, it'd be like shaking a bottle filled with oil and water: his essence would be gradually repelled and separated from the body it resides in, and he'd drop dead within a day, hours even.

So... he died.

Which is unfortunate, I suppose, but neither miss Lillian's nor my entries are canon so that's irrelevant to the Castle of Nations storyline.

Here's an idea, what if Huitzi was an Ancient Egyptian instead of an Ancient Aztec? What would he look like? And would he be living the same sort of life or doing something else? (I know that it's actually Mayans and Egyptians that are similar, but I figure it was a close enough to jump the gap.)

Haha, I’m pretty sure that would hardly change anything about Huitzi, aside his attire.

You’re right, Mayans were similar culture-wise to the Egyptians, whereas Aztecs would be closer to the Roman empire in terms of organization…

But he’ll learn to join the dance! Huh? HUH?

Favorite, as in, the most fun? I guess my fondness for characters is a bit obvious by now – I'm naturally inclined to draw my own OCs, but trying different designs gives you unlimited creative freedom, which is never a bad thing.

Aw, thank you, guys! I guess everyone is inspired by something, aren't they? If I have any idea of what I want to focus on a character, I start by researching about the topic or theme. That helps the brainstorming a lot, I've noticed. Generally that's also when I gather inspirations and ideas overall.

Other than that, I can't recall anything I base all my characters out of – except, well... myself, perhaps. They have to rely on someone, and unfortunately for them that's me, haha =P

Thanks! Whenever people has inquired me about my artwork I'd show WIPs or talk about my personal steps and whatnot, but a tutorial isn't something I've planned on doing. I'm unsure if my skill or eloquence levels are reliable enough! I won't mind rambling about my art process if there's anything specific you're curious about, though :)

I don't think I ever tried to purposely find a style, so I wouldn't know. Maybe the style found me? Haha. I don't even know if it should be considered my "own", since it's just a mash-up of several references I've gathered through my artistic life. I suppose that may be disappointing to some, but since it happened naturally, I didn't fight against it.

Heyos! Since we're in the process about inquiring about characters that surround Karl and Climber there's one character I've been itching to ask about. WHO is that awesome gargoyle dragon and HOW does he manage to fly while keeping himself together considering how much of him has broken apart?

Hey there. Haha, why am I not surprised to see you asking about her! Well…

Treacy, as she’s commonly called, is part of the haunted/ghost ride area, and like most statues living there she looks a little shorter than the mold she was made of…

Most CoN statues can use the magical energy within the park to keep themselves in one piece (or, well, two) even when the laws of physics wouldn’t allow it. However, if they become short on energy or are broken into too many separated pieces, they’ll eventually crumble apart.

By the way…
