Whenever I inevitably have thoughts of "Oh I should draw [CURRENT INTEREST] as Pokemon!" I run into the issue where I am so biased for gen 5 that more than half of them are unova mons. Sad

a lot of media assumes robots would be immortal but i think its a lot more interesting to explore robots dealing with their parts wearing down and battery life shortening and all the horrible little failings that come with being a complicated machine. sure they can replace parts but you'd assume you cant completely ship of theseus them, or it'd have pretty big rammifications on their sense of identity. idk. give me robots with distinct, unique signs of aging. as a treat.

Because y'all DO exist, even if the trend lately has been to shove everyone into smaller and smaller boxes, with less and less allyship between them.

Because queerness is not something that you can measure like that, let alone only on two binary axes of 'gayness' and 'transness.'

Because historically, even being poly made you queer.

Because it used to be understood that being kinky was also queer.

Because until quite recently everyone knew that the Venn diagram of LGBT and poly and kinky was not quite a circle, but the shared area was enormous, and the entire graph was full of allies.

Because we were all hated together as a bunch of filthy deviants, and in a lot of ways, we still are.

Because we have got to stop conveniently forgetting that all kinds of people can be Cis But It's Complicated™, and intersex people and gender nonconforming people and anybody else at all can use whatever labels are true for them.

Because being Straight But It's Complicated™ is way more common than you probably think, and they're welcome too.

Because aces and aros can still be cishet as well if they damned well please, and they're not less queer for it.

Because why the fuck are we chasing allies away when we're having our legal rights stripped?

Because queer is a huge umbrella, and there's room under it for everyone who wants to be here. You can be here and you belong here.
