The he chapter felt very short, how long was the prologue?

The prologue is quite short, to the point I forgot I actually had a prologue. 😅

It is only a few passages.

To be honest, when I first started thinking on prologue and chapter 1, I knew I wanted there to be a confusion and sense of hurriedness (is that even a word??).

Yet, that is a beauty of wip stories, I can always go back and add more or change things or delete parts. Which I'm probably gonna do down the line, since there are parts in the story I think need polishing.

But, yeah, the prologue is short.

Playing as Villainess it's tempting to just flip the script and be nice to everyone and break the character.

But I can't help but think that I would keep the aloof, uncaring and cold persona in public but maybe I'll be secretly care, I am very happy that option is available.

I think that that is fun!

I don't plan on putting a lock on Mc personality.

While I can see merit to it, it would make my life a bit easier to be honest, I will not be doing it.

The stats are implemented so that me and you can keep track on Mc, people and choices in general. You will be able to make choices where mc can be mostly cold or kind, or mean to the public, while privately a total opposite.

Such personality switch will get commented on.

The reason I do want to keep it like that is simple, people are not just one personality. They are not just aloof or happy or mean.

I don't blame authors who wish to stick to few choices, I find them to be smart, but personally I don't want to do that.

As stated before, this is my self-indulgent story, so I do sometimes write the Mc in a way I think most people would act, or, well what I think would be a somewhat normal reaction.

There is confusion, denial, and anger at the start, after all, what normal person would so easily accept such strange circumstances.

I hope this little rant makes sense. 😅😅

I was so not ready to be emotional when I got to meet the Duke in the garden

Usually MCs that get isekai'd don't talk about their previous family or if they do they are shitty people but in this case MC talking about their own father and thinking if their family is wondering what happened to them actually made me feel all sorts of emotions :(

I am honestly so curious to see how this story develops! From the siblings to the father to the Original Body's reputation and everything, if feels like a gold mine full of possibilities! Great work as always!

I always found it the greatest compliment to be when a story has an emotional impact on readers because I find it hard to get emotionally invested or generally juat invested in stories. 😅

Usually, I don't find my writing to be the best, but I love writing the stories that I come up with.

When it comes to the family in the isekai universes, I do like the angst of it, but sometimes the trope does get a bit overused.

When I think about the family of the original villain, I try to think about the circumstances of their time (well, the time period that i was inspired to write about), obligations and lives in general.

Why did the Duke do what he did? (I will be getting into what he did in the story)

Why do the siblings act the way they do, how do their ages, with Cassius as the oldest and Rowena as the second oldest, genders and closeness to each other, their parents and the original villain/ess affect them in both the original and current stories.

I think it's easy to make them evil, or to love and obsess over the Mc, but that's usually not how it goes in the real world.

Rowena will be happy, if you are nice to her, but if you truly try to "fix" the relationship that is when you will truly win her over.

With Cassius, you will need to prove your loyalty. And that won't be easy.

As for the Duke, that's going to be both easy and hard. That's all I'm going to say.

Hello! I've recently found your IF and so far it looks amazing! Though when reading the demo in dark mode, the yellow underlines parts are really hard to read because the red is too dark and mixes with the background. I had to really strain my eyes to read, haha 😅

I usually play in light mode, and don't pay much attention to the dark mode.

I changed it into a lighter yellow, so now it should be a bit easier to see.

Ok, this is a bit hard, since where I'm from we use meters 😅😅

Which means I will have to use online converter. I hope that it is correct.

So,

Alaric is 1 meter and 80 centimeters, which would be around 5.9.

Cornelia is 1 meter and 60 centimeters, which would be around 5.2.

Simone is 1 meter and 64 centimeters, which would be 5.3 or 5.4.

Karl is 1 meter and 69 centimeters (😉), which would be around 5.5.

I don't know if I will add heights to the story when I write, but this is how I imagined each character. I tried to think about their lives before the story and how that would impact their health and height. As well as what their daily activities would be like and the expectation they live with.

Hi so im playing the update and for eye color I believe there was a option for red colored eyes before but I dont see that option anymore. The only options are hazel,brown,green,blue,and violet. Is this on accident or did you choose to remove that option? (Also I like that your makeing a reincarnation IF bc I love reading them in webtoons <3)

Hello, hello, my dear readers!

I am happy to announce that Chapter 1 is officially done. I can't explain how happy I am to be able to post it. The full word count is 60k words

Mobile screen mode - I played a bit with the codes and I believe now that the mobile players will find the reading a bit easier this way. (If you find any problems with opening the game or if the game still turns around, please let me know)

Call me old-fashioned, but I never expected a phone to be a good substitute for a computer. It's still a bit hard to use, but it's alright for when I'm on the move.
