If you're a creator and you needed to hear this today:

You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.

People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.

My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.

OC-TOBER Day 4/5: NATURE/LOST

I had yet to do Day 4, so I combined it with Day 5! I found a beautiful Oscar Wilde quote to accompany a piece I made to fit Canis’ Story: “Nature, which makes nothing durable, always repeats itself so that nothing which it makes is lost.”

I have a joint canon with @apprenticeofcups in which both Canis and Valentin had died clasping each other’s hands, and therefore both received patronage from The Fool.

OC-TOBER DAY 3: FEAST

Since today’s Prompt is Feast, I decided to illustrate a few recipe cards of dishes that Canis likes to make!

He’s a bit of a sweets freak, so I’ve included two yummy treats! IT SHOULD BE NOTED that both recipes contain some form of pepper but it is NOT required in order to make these dishes (Canis just has the strangest palette and likes everything to be spicy, so I included it 😂��)
