Screen in the middle of the dash is an unnaturally stretched mouth with gums obviously stitched where the teeth used to be.

Plug in is an intestinal tract that shlurps when it charges.

Someone other than you enters the driver’s seat and poison floods the body of the car.

RIP to anyone who test drives for that man, he’s going above and beyond on those dummy safety tests just for the love of the game.

Zaraki would ABSOLUTELY show up attempting to chase that War High he experienced fighting Unohana and Gremmy. He begins the downward spiral of realizing he may never live that high ever again, circling the same drain Unohana did all those years ago.

Also is the fic that this is in Stories of the Sea?? Because I saw an update on my dash not too long ago and have a tab open to start that one (finally!!!). Captains wearing people’s ribs ala Gashadokuro is an absolute mood.

Mayuri vs Pernida as puppets would own SO HARD. I think if Mayuri got involved in a production he caught wind of because he’s a little control freak, he’d piss off the Puppeteers so bad. He’d remodel a Jizo puppet to need like five people and throw off the established hierarchy of a troupe just to be a bitch.

And LEDs wise, they’ve also come a long way with light production casting out into the crowd, and I think it’s completely possible a blinding Sunflower suit casting rainbows on audience members could be rigged up.

Also I’m sure the Gotei 13, Byakuya in particular, has been dealing with Porno lawsuits for a LONG time. That man is having to get legal documents drafted to stop the production of obscene material that claims to be Life Casted Straight From The Man Himself on the regular.

Giselle is that girlie who is nonstop dancing at the rave. Non. Stop.

She’s half drinking half spilling in the crush of bodies. Accepting a bump while dancing on Bambi’s lap. Grooving in the bathroom and hopping on the sinks while Lili flashes the lights and scares anyone coming in with her mighty morphing mouth.

Even when they’re weaving through the parking lot, she’s still jumping like there’s gonna be another drop.

And then when they’re back home, she’s moody and listless and passive aggressive because The Nothing is whispering at her again.

I think Momo is like one of those make up store reps to her division. She is their customer service. That’s why they like her. And it’s a form of downplaying her for some, but it’s also what makes her one of the most approachable, dependable lieutenants in active duty. She actually gives a shit and the credit is unfortunately largely taken by the store she works for providing such wonderful service. (Soul Society bbb ratings show the truth don’t worry)

Like someone asks her how to learn a kido faster and she just smiles, so tired and kind, and tells them to keep trying but recommends more achievable kido and and similar ones that shinigami probably already knows to combine in an approximation (one could even say a dupe) because hollows won’t wait for you to master a single kido.

She’s practical yet gentle in her let downs. Realistic in her hope. Kind in her discipline.

2024 rounded out to be pretty amazing and I found out I’m a cringe lesbian instead of a cringe bisexual, so not that big of a change in the scheme of things but huge for me, personally. Perhaps in 2025 I’ll skew in another categorical label, who knows!

1.Favorite episode of Bleach? 2.If you could write a scene with Mayuri interacting in anyway shape or form with Orihime. What would it be? 3.Favorite hour in the day?

1. I’ll be honest, I have no idea what my favorite episode would be, but I do know my favorite chapter! In Sane We Trust is the start of Mayuri vs Uryu and sets up the tone of Mayuri’s character INSANELY (Ehehe) well.

The way Kubo has us swap from the POV of a hopeful barely-made-it-in 12th division member swiftly coming to grips with the fact that he’s being sacrificed to get a cheap jump on the invading ryoka is THE most well done cold open in the series. Full stop.

The opening ALONE, before we even get to Mayuri, Uryu, and Orihime interacting is able to impart so much. We get world building, character building, and foreshadowing in minimal pages. Although I love later arcs, the care and editing that went into setting up early chapters is unmatched.

2. I will forever be bitter that Orihime didn’t get to go to college due to money woes. Truly so on par for Soul Society to fumble one of their heroes like that. Worst afterlife to ever exist award goes to them every time.

If Mayuri got wind of it, I think he would absolutely try to rekindle his original offer to Orihime, in a more respectable package now that’s she’s a very big somebody in the scheme of things, in exchange for splitting the funding that’ll come in with her. Hella benefactors would love to know more about Orihime’s powers.

Hair pin fairies? BACK. Mayuri constantly bitching that this or that would be so much easier if Orihime would just let him do major surgery? ACTIVATED. Orihime using her ditzy niceties to impart the sickest burns and sidesteps but continuing on so she can get that sweet, sweet funding? NEAR CONSTANT.

Also, as always, Akon would be like one of those therapy dogs with the little vests for both Orihime and Mayuri. He is there to smoke a cigarette in the room since Mayuri is not allowed nor trusted alone per Nanao Ise specifically and nod whenever Orihime gets a really good dig in.

3. I really like 9 - 10 both am and pm. Not sure why, but I either feel super focused or at ease in the best way around this time. Sometimes BOTH.
