A quick sketch of Danny Chase. I didn’t even know this guy existed until I found a comic called Teen Titans: Games in the library last year. Instant new favourite titan ^o^!

This is one of the illustrations my teacher helped me create in manga school. I miss going there already! He’s ‘Shounen Bat’ (or Lil’ Slugger in the dub) from Paranoia Agent. This anime will always have a special place in my heart because it’s the first adult-oriented anime I ever watched; having a continuous plot arc, troubled characters, and things to say about society. I was quite young, so I was really stunned by all that at the time. I’ve grown to idolize Satoshi Kon’s works, but this is the one that helped me transition from only watching Pokemon, Digimon and Cardcaptor Sakura to seeking a wide variety of anime and engaging with the messages within media... In a way, it helped me transition from childhood into adolescence.
