A Fae Does Not Forget

A Fae does not forget, and finds it very hard to let go of an insult. Perhaps this is why it’s said that the wrath of a Fae is not something you want to mess with. It’s not necessarily a pompous thing about faeries when it’s said things insult them, it’s because they feel so purely. ‘Insults’ hurt.

Mentally a Fae may be ancient in wisdom, intelligence, and cunning wit, but their emotions are much like the purity of those of a child. Purity not meaning, ‘good’, purity in meaning raw and true without inhibition. In that way, they are innocently feeling things. Their emotions are like snow.

But when you feel so much more purely like that, the tiniest things can hurt you, or make you mad, because so many people don’t feel or see things the same way they do. It’s frustrating, and also makes them very very sad that the human world can’t be more innocent in emotion and heart and free they are.

It makes them angry.

And if you hurt them, (insult them) that’s not going to go away. It’s going to manifest as anger and rage, because you hurt them, frustrate them, and made them really mad.

It is in this regard to, that Fae find favor in children or child-like humans who haven’t lost that innocence of heart and mind. They admire and see the purity in the innocent. They respect that and like that as a trait.
