        “I already do that, there’s no need to be affiliated with you to be at the top. Go away, creep.”

      “It doesn’t matter, just know that I’m scoping out for the best people for my plans,” Yamato replied, then flashed Nate one of his smirks. “And I believe that you would be at the top. I have faith that you’ll be the best candidate.”

      “Potential fighters... for what?” He couldn’t help but be a bit curious, maybe he should... nah, if that meant he would have to be in close proximity with this weird guy, he’d rather not know about it. “Actually, I’m sure it’s weird since you’re part of it...”

      “I have several jobs to do, spending it watching potential fighters is one of them.” He doesn’t even care about the gross comment.

     A sardonic laugh followed the one of his grandmother’s, not sure how he should respond. Gods, this felt extremely awkward. “That’s awfully cocky of you to say.”

    “Although, it’s weird that you mention friends, though. I don’t really care for having many...”Not to mention that they would be extremely annoying and needy.

The cleric flashed a smile of her own before pinching her grandson’s cheeks. 

“You look cute regardless if you’re smiling or not, you’re related to me after all!” she said laughing. “but still, smiling isn’t that much work, is it? You get more friends the more you smile!”

      “No such thing! And recognition will always happen, it’s in our blood after all. You too will be noticed, son.”

      “You’re lying, Orane.” Nate hissed, averting his gaze from his sister’s. Saying that he wasn’t a monster... his sister was a huge idiot, huh? “That’s what all of those weaklings on the battlefield tell me when I’m done with them.”

     “Does that mean you’re stronger than them, perhaps? It’s obvious that you wouldn’t know how much of a monster I am... I’m your precious little brother, and it’s impossible for me to ever harm you.” The boy let out a chuckle, his scowl morphing into a knowing smirk. “Maybe one day you’ll see me for the monster I am, sis.”

*chucks a rubber duck at you and runs away cackling*

    “Gods... what the hell is this?” Nate scowled, retrieving the yellow duck after it hit him. “Tch.” With a swift motion, he tossed the rubber duck to the side. Goodbye duck.

   “Smiling takes too much work. I don’t think I need to look cute... I guess, if you insist, though...”

    “Does this work?”

“You look really angry, actually. I bet you look real cute if you smile! Smile for Grandma!”

     “There’s no need to give that much recognition, father. I don’t really care if I get a lot of followers or not.”
