Unreliable Narrator’s I MISS ACTING is now LIVE!
Unreliable Narrator's new virtual theater piece is here!
vimeo
KIMBERLY MAE WALLER stars in "I Miss Acting," the story of a winter night in the life of Teagan, a working actor benched for the pandemic who wants a night of normalcy. Then a dolphin shows up on her Tindr profile. Since dolphins can’t get COVID she goes for it, and normalcy ensues. Sort of! “I Miss Acting” is a quirky and sad reflection on all we have lost. And at only twenty minutes, it will not appreciably contribute to your Zoom fatigue!

SUPER PATRIOTS! is Live!
Check out SUPER PATRIOTS! UN's new show is available at the Minnesota Fringe for the low, low price of their $5 "button." Support the Fringe!
Super Patriots!
SUPER PATRIOTS! From our actors' homes directly to you: Short absurdist plays about American leaders who loved their country so much that they unleashed reigns of terror upon it.
PART 1: SUPER PATRIOTS (1950-1954) Americans everywhere are delighted by the Communist-hating antics of Senator Joe McCarthy. But when he starts murdering people on the Senate floor, things have gone too darn far. Can young senators Lyndon Johnson and Hubert Humphrey find a way to stop him without incurring his politically deadly wrath?
PART 2: DOUGHFACE (1860-1861) It is the dawn of the Civil War, and only the wise leadership of Abraham Lincoln can prevent full-scale fighting. Unfortunately he’s not in office yet, so America is stuck with President James Buchanan. It goes poorly.
Cast (in order of appearance)
SUPER PATRIOTS
Brian Rust...Sen. Hubert Humphrey
Tim Hoover...Sen. Lyndon Johnson
Carl Danielson...Sen. Joseph McCarthy
Kitty Drexel...Sen. Margaret Chase Smith
Liz Salazar...Atty. Joseph Welch
DOUGHFACE

UNTG #16--Pb-pb-b-b-b
Listen here. Being unable to recall anything else about their web series, Laura, Will, and Carl’s conversation drifts to YA books from their youths. Topics include depressing books from the ‘70s, the trouble with adapting “A Wrinkle in Time” for the stage, and a debate on how to make the motorcycle noise from “The Mouse and the Motorcycle.” Then Will and Carl read a short piece from Carl’s new-economy kidnapping satire “StockHome.” Mentioned in this episode: Will Kurtz’s “Inventing Kot:” inventingkot.tumblr.com Spoiler alert for the endings to the following books: “Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes,” “Stone Fox,” “The Mouse and the Motorcycle,” and “A Wrinkle in Time.” The podcast Carl refers to is “Sophomore Lit” with John McCoy, and is usually very good; they just really didn’t get “A Wrinkle In Time.” www.theincomparable.com/sophomorelit/ Send your remarks on topics mentioned in this show to [email protected].
