Stupid thing I've been thinking about

These stupid Polaroids in Shelly's room. I know its meant to be just typical modern teenage girl set dressing - fairy lights and Polaroids, her big initial at the top. And it's very cute, and I do like it and what it says about Shelly, but...when and why the fuck did she take these pictures.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, I know we don't need to see Shelly doing every little fucking thing, clearly they're just implying this is an interest she has. But it just doesn't gel well with me. When does Shelly go out to a festival or the beach with a camera to take aesthetic pictures with? Who the hell is that random ass dog?

I wish we had a more closer look at these because some of them I don't know what's going on. In any case, Shelly, to me, feels too much like a shut in to be going out taking pictures with a Polaroid without feeling a little embarrassed. I need to see it to believe it.

This is all to say that my proposition or even headcanon if you will is to suggest that Cartman took these pictures for her to hang on her wall. Yes, this is about the Cartman and Shelly friendship that exists only in my mind. It just makes sense to me, and I like it as this connection between them. The composition, colouring, and overall mood of the photos also just fit Cartman's typical style.

(I guess he just took a random picture of a dog and Shelly thought it was cute enough.)
