Progress on my longer reads and a couple shorter readers finished. I also got halfway through Fullmetal Alchemist #6 this morning.

Middle grade graphic novels and graphic memior is one of my absolute favorite things to read. (I think it's because it is what I needed at that age, but didn't have). I've been awaiting Raina Telgemeier's new book (and feel bad I've had this library copy out so long keeping it out of some kid's hands). Finally, started it today, and I love this page with a list of graphic memiors. I've read all but two, both of which I'd heard of and are now officially on the tbr.

Too many long books going at once (and some other unexpected stuff going on), so I haven't finished anything yet this week. Yesterday, I was spent reading all the Whalestoe letters in House of Leaves, which is my first time back to it in weeks. I also spent time going back through the first 90 pages of Sunrise on the Reaping to mark all the references for my husband for when he reads it next.

I added Simon's Cat this morning for a quick read. Had to get up and show my husband the suitcase strip. I've got Calvin & Hobbes ready to reread (first time since the 90s!), but I know those aren't as fast to read as other strips. The plan is to also reread all of Lore Olympus leading up to the two newest ones I bought for Mother's Day. I've completed LO on Webtoon, but have really enjoyed rereading it with each new physical volume.

A sign it is the end of the school year: Not only does my finish rate slow, but I mostly can only finish digital comics and manga.

If I play my cards right (i.e. don't procrastinate), I will be done with all my grading in a week!!

My library stack is getting a little out of hand, but I also have a long book out that I don't expect to finish on time or be able to renew. (It's a Court of Mist and Fury, which one of my sophomores convinced me to read because I did find Rhys the best part of the first in the series). I have some digital books checked out, but I haven't started any after spending 14 hours on Firestarter.
