Cyborg from the Teen Titans and his entry from Who's Who in the DC Universe.

At the time, Vic was only known from his time in New Teen Titans where he was a fairly respected and well-liked character. Of course they tried to bludgeon him into being a main Justice League character and a founding member of the team starting with the New 52 (at the expense of Martian Manhunter whose role Cyborg had in essence stolen). Then he was in all the Justice League cartoons and the movie and was even a main character in the Doom Patrol TV show for some reason. I think things have gone back to normalcy and he's mostly appearing in Titans or Titans-related books now.
