Antizionism is Antisemitism
"What about Antizionist Jews?" They're either wildly misinformed or Antisemitic.
Women can be misogynistic, POC can be racist, Trans people can be transphobic, Muslims can be Anti-Muslim. And Jews can be Antisemitic
If someone is fawning to a group that wants them on specific dead because they think they'll be saved because they're the "good ones" then they're no better than the group they're fawning for.
If someone is saying everyone like them doesn't deserve safety because they've never been harmed before and refuse to recognize the hatred against their group then they might as well be perpetuating the hate themselves.
And if they are already perpetuating the hate, like antizionist are, then they deserve to be called out. I don't think they should be excused.

the left has lost it
(using “#team” about a war like it’s a sporting match is really sick and bizarre too, and I just know she means the IRI and not the people of Iran in that hashtag)

A lot of people seem to be really stumped by status as a minority not being universal.
Asian people in the US? Ethnic minorities! Asian people in Asia? Shockingly, can be the majority.

If you as a leftist can understand that
the Trump administration is using the concept of violence against women to oppress transgender people and strip back civil rights
AND violence against women is a real societal issue that needs to be taken seriously, especially when women's safety and autonomy is directly attacked by the same right wing politicians claiming to care about it to further their agenda
Then you can also understand that
the Trump administration is using the concept of antisemitism to perpetuate oppress activists and strip back freedom of speech
AND antisemitism is a real societal issue that needs to be taken seriously, especially when Jewish safety is directly attacked by the same right wing politicians claiming to care about it to further their agenda
Right? ...Right??

just saw a furry go "ugh pup masks are the worst thing to happen to the furry community" and it's like what are you talking about those are your cousins, at the end of the day you're both pretending to be gay dog men, i think it's just an aesthetic choice at that point
#this is my favorite discourse because like#at the end of the day#furries are WAY more likely to do weird AF public kink shit at their cons than pups#this is the pot calling the kettle degenerate

I long for the days when when people said they were concerned about genocide, they meant they were concerned about genocide, and not that they're mad Jews exist.

It is very easy to pretend antisemitism isn't a real problem/is a distraction, if you just accuse every Jew who points out antisemitism of making stuff up to silence people. Just like it's very easy to pretend the same thing about, say, transphobia. Rhetorically speaking, dismissing accusations of antisemitism on the basis that "the jews are weaponizing it to silence us!" isn't that distinct from Republicans fearmongering about how in California you'll get arrested for calling someone the wrong pronoun
It is also very easy to ignore that that's exactly what this rhetoric is and exactly what it's for, if you just admonish anyone who points this out for glossing over the "fact" that "Jews really are weaponizing antisemitism to silence us!"

Huh, it’s almost like the president of the United States can’t unilaterally force two autonomous, independent parties to agree to a ceasefire. But I was assured otherwise for a solid year and a half by everyone online who screamed "ceasefire now!" and ignored when a certain group repeatedly rejected those ceasefire offers. Hm! It's almost like I made a post way back in November 2023 saying that the people acting like the president could just end a war in the Middle East with a phone call were no different from MAGA believing Trump could waltz into a room and get world leaders to listen to him by acting like a big, tough guy. Hm, hm, hm,
