There’s this weird tendency among fandom types where they’ll take a character, and insist that they are fans of them, before changing their design, age, pronouns, backstory, blood type, species, hometown, favorite color, zodiac sign, medical history, and every other facet of their being.

They will then violently insist that this version is superior to the canon one and act like they “fixed” them and it’s like. Buddy that’s not the same character anymore. That’s just your own oc commiting identity fraud. Like. I get the desire to experiment with different interpretations of a story. But first of all it’s okay to just make an original character if that’s what you really want to do. And second of all, are you even really a fan of the character you “fixed” if they’re a completely different person afterwards?

Like. Idk dude for somebody who claims to be a fan you sure don’t seem to like them as they are :/

Yes! Like just imagine how much worse his parents would be towards him if he was a subgender that’s generally supposed to be strong and unbeatable.

And how he’d hate himself even more for not being able to protect All Might, his own guilt and his alphan instincts just making it so much worse.

Then he gets taken in by the League and Dabi - also an alpha - shows him how to be more in tune with his instincts and teaches him it’s okay to be weak and shit.

And Bakugou kind of imprints on all of them but especially Dabi and he thinks of them as pack and violently scents every single one of them before they go anywhere.

And any time someone in the League goes into rut or heat  he spends every day just cooking and cleaning and making sure they have everything and anything they need.

I’ve just rambled on about this on Twitter (18+) but!!!

I have such a weak spot for Bakugou secretly being Endeavour’s son.

Mitsuki and Enji have an affair, it’s after Natsuo’s born and Enji is just so fuckin’ frustrated with himself, his wife, everything about his life, and she gets pregnant. It’s an accident, a stupid accident, but they decide to keep it a secret to avoid a scandal and Enji just gives her money to keep her mouth shut. She would’ve stayed silent about it anyways, she doesn’t want her boy in the spotlight like that, but she doesn’t care, she milks the hero for what he’s fuckin’ worth.

She fuckin’ adores her little boy, she doesn’t even need the money Enji gives her, she makes enough money working as a model, but she takes it anyways just to buy her baby whatever the fuck he wants - toys, clothes, hero merch, anything.

She would die for the little spitfire.  

And then one day she does. 

They happen to be walking down the street when a villain strikes and she covers Katsuki with her own body in order to protect him.

Endeavour doesn’t particularly care, he’s fine with letting the brat go into the system.

But they later find out, in her will, she’d appointed Endeavour as the guardian to the child as the rest of her family had died a long time ago. She didn’t want to, she looked for other options, but with the dangerous quirk Katsuki had and his slight anger issues, she knew there was a chance he’d struggle getting adopted, and she didn’t want her boy growing up in the system. So she had faith Endeavour would treat her baby right.

The press somehow finds out that Katsuki is Endeavour’s kid and so he has no choice but to take him in - he was already on thin fuckin’ ice with the public and rejecting his bastard child would only make everyone hate him even more.

The first training he goes through Katsuki doesn’t cry, not during it at least. He’s fine with the pain, he’s fine with pushing his limits more and more and more until he breaks - he’s going to be a hero after all! But afterwards he’s sniffling and stumbling over to his room - not because of the pain he feels in his raw hands, but because Endeavour kept. fucking. calling. him. weak.

After that is the first time he meets Touya. At first he doesn’t like him, he thinks he’s only going to make fun of him for crying but he doesn’t. Instead he sits down next to him and says jokes and lets Katsuki see his pretty flames.

He likes Touya!

And Touya…

The first time he sees the little blond walking through the house, scrapes and bruises covering his body he was intrigued.

Not because of the fact that he was Endeavour’s illegitemate child but because even after the training his face still looked so damn strong and determined. 

And so he just walked into his room and held him while he cried, the same way Natsuo held him after his training. 

He wrapped his hands up and held him close and sang him to sleep. 

He knew he couldn’t protect the others, he was far too weak, but maybe he could help this one.

Usually he just does it during training.

He’s not above using tricks to beat his classmates if they’re only practicing, he doesn’t really care, and so if they have him pinned down he’ll just smirk and lean in, inches away from their face and whisper, “ya like having me under ya, huh, baby?” And the other person will get all flustered and start blushing like fuckin’ crazy, giving Katsuki the chance to roll over and hold them down until they yield.

When they tell others just how Katsuki won, Katsuki just acts confused and as if it didn’t fuckin’ happen.

Soon he starts doing it outside of training though.

It starts with Mina, she’s in the kitchen, trying to grab something off of the top shelf and she’s struggling, and he just strides over, puts a hand on her lower back and gets it for her, and when he hands it over he smirks and goes, “there ya go, pretty girl.”

She tells the rest of the girls but they just laugh it off and say she probably heard him wrong.

But then everyone else starts to hear him talk that way too.

He’ll casually walk up to Uraraka, tilting her chin up with his finger beneath it and whispering, “you look so pretty today, sweetheart.”

The first time Todoroki walks into the common room wearing grey sweatpants and he sits down next to Bakugou, the blond just looks at him, bites his lip and goes, “fucking hell, guess your quirk ain’t the only thing hot about you, huh?”

And none of them ever get used to it.

I’m gonna go on a small rant. I ngl love the whole 1-a low key hates Bakugou after finding out he bullied Midoriya, but you know what would make that even better? Bakugou is the ua traitor rumors. Now you have 1-a with already low trust in bakugou paired with rumors of the ‘asshole dude that acts like a villlain’ like instant distrust. Now cue a salty ass Bakugou that either goes “I’m gonna be the best hero” or I’m gonna be the best villain” This train of thoughts lives in my head rent free

That is delicious, I love it.

And I can’t resist but go the ‘Bakugou leaves UA and joins the League’ route purely because I think that once everyone finds out he’s not the traitor their guilt would be even fuckin’ worse than it would be had he stayed.

Like, the students are already suspicious of him because of his behaviour and attitude but then they find out about his and Deku’s past and in their minds that confirms their theories.

I think that at first he’d try to pretend it doesn’t bother him and that their words don’t get to him, Izuku himself comforts him and he argues with anyone that says anything against him, but Katsuki is all alone other than that because no one else wants to talk to him and he’s trying so damn hard but every day he’s closer and closer to breaking.

I think the breaking point would be if Kirishima/Bakusquad actually believed the rumours; like, if he overheard them talking about it and how it makes sense and how they should’ve realized sooner. That would just make him finally cry for hours before he just packs his bags and leaves. He doesn’t run away, he goes to Nezu and talks to him about it, his parents agree to letting him leave because his mother was just waiting for this moment, it’ll just give her something to hold over his head and so she’s practically ecstatic.

Deku tries to stop him, grabs his arm and holds him back and cries but Bakugou just shakes him off and leaves.

They don’t see him for months afterwards. And he barely leaves his room, can’t even get out of bed, but eventually everything his mom keeps saying to him gets to him and he packs his bags once again and leaves. He doesn’t know where he’ll go or what he’ll do but he just doesn’t want to stay there anymore.

Just as he’s standing at the train station, waiting for any train that would take him far away, someone stands next to him. He doesn’t even blink at the smell of smoke and ash, he just tilts his head to the side and arches a brow and watches as Dabi smirks.

“Runnin’ away, firecracker?”

Bakugou shrugs.

“Why don’t ya just come with me, huh?”

And Bakugou can do nothing but follow.

In the Dabi and Baku AU: Whats if the traitor is Denki?

Listen listen listen.

I’m about to make Denki into an asshole, I’m sorry, it hurts me too, I love him.

What if he’s the one that instigated a lot of the abuse? He was really vocal about how horrible Katsuki is and how he must be the traitor because there’s no way someone with a personality like his could ever be a hero? The bullying was already bad but it was Denki who made it unbearable for Katsuki.

And then by the time UA finds out Denki is the traitor, Katsuki has already spent quite a lot of time with the League (who don’t tell Denki cause they wanna protect Kat) and so they all get really protective over him.

And then once Denki runs away since UA knows now, he goes back to the League and Katsuki is fuckin’ heartbroken to find out it was Denki who was the traitor all along - not only because he was his friend but also because it means all of that abuse was for nothing, he was bullied just for the sake of hiding his friend’s true identity.

The League finds out about everything that Denki put Katsuki through at the school and immediately get rid of him, they refuse to work with someone that hurt their boy.

Here’s a hot take: shaming kinky people and calling us “freaks” and what have you, is homophobic rhetoric, pure and simple. Not only did BDSM/leather originate in the gay male community, but there is also a huge overlap between people who identify as LGBTQ+ and kinksters.

So it kinda. Almost sounds like. You want to kick out and shame the “bad gays” to gain some semblance of acceptance with the cishets, and I’m sorry to tell you this but you can’t end your own oppression without ending ours too. You can be the most respectable gay out there, and they are still going to see you as lesser than them.
