Friends, hello.
Perhaps you've been wondering what your old pals from I Love Charts have been up to for the past ... decade or so.
Well, would it interest you to hear that one of the things we got up to was making an audio-first production company, Charts & Leisure?
Yeah, I agree — that's only marginally interesting. But one of the podcasts we are making, in fact launching, this very week might be interesting to you.
It's called Never Post, and it's a member-supported, employee-owned podcast about and for the internet. We want to talk about how we love this place and are frustrated by it and want to be good community members within it.
Never Post's host is the internet's own Mike Rugnetta. You know him!
It's produced by deeply brilliant people (with experience at The New York Times, Spotify and other such places), one mysterious anonymous producer and me, Jason Oberholtzer, for whatever that is worth.
We have two episodes up! Please consider giving a listen.
Episode Zero is a special table-setting roundtable conversation about creating independent media with Gita Jackson (Aftermath), Alex Sujong Laughlin (Defector Media), and Rusty Foster (Today in Tabs). You know these people!
Episode One is a proper episode format, covering the disappearance of tween-specific fashion trends, and the epidemic of Posting Disease plaguing social media. Bijan Stephen is on that one and you know him too!
I hope you all have been well. It's nice to be here with you. I hope this show helps.
And yes - I have already listened to this - such a fun podcast.

We live a few blocks from the Central Florida Girl Scouts HQ and these kids have it dialed in. There is a drive through during this season. Go support young entrepreneurs and all the things they learn. Plus the Girl Scouts are inclusive!
haven't seen anyone post this yet this year so friendly reminder that you can use the girl scout cookie tracker to find cookie booths in your area if you don't know any kiddos who are selling
I love this. I used to go see Wayne Brady waaaaaaay before he was famous when he was just doing live sketch comedy in the early 90s in Orlando. He was hilarious then and always a nice guy and his happiness delights me. Yay Wayne!!

"As someone who gets to bring joy to others daily on tv, it's been ironic that I don't experience it as much as I'd like. I advocate mental health for all and a part of that is self transparency. In doing my work, I've come to see a few truths, one of them being that I want to be free to love whomever I want. This truth makes me Pan and part of the lgbtq+ family. It's scary as hell to say out loud but here it is. The people I admire the most are the ones brave enough to be themselves unapologetically. This shouldn't shake anyone's world, but if it bothers you at all, that's your business:) I was so afraid of having my manhood questioned, but screw that. A "real man" in my eyes, isn't afraid to be honest and happy. From now on, I'll be over here living my best life! I love you"
Right now on Twitter— oops, sorry. Right now on X— there are Greek-statue-avatar "modern women are degenerates; retvrn" accounts which are partnering with OnlyFans to signal-boost OF models and promote their streams. The models pay the accounts to RT them with "dunks" like "look how fatherless and decadent this is", and the models see increased signups as a result.
And like... I'm in awe. This is it, this is the entire 21st century neatly encapsulated.
All the time. Most of the books I have read this year came from my library. Digital and physical. Plus they have cool lectures and all sorts of other things.
Destroy the myth that libraries are no longer relevant. If you use your library, please reblog.
I personally believe companies should have a minimum time off requirement.
I think adults need summer vacation. Like let's just close down all our jobs for three months and play outside. Please. I'm so tired.
