This is a Flower from my comic Windwood Syndrome. No one knows where they come from (I do, hehe), no one even knows they exist even though they are everywhere. They take different, inconsistent forms, but all of them look somewhat like a colorful mushroom or, well, a flower.

When contacted by a human, the Flower merges with their body, offering an ability to change matter itself and hardwires all the basic instructions into their brain. No catch, you can go on with your life, you can block your memories about this encounter and live as a human. But you are no longer one... And, probably, you aren't even the same person - you are a copy of yourself. Or does it mean - just yourself? For some it's enough to consider themselves dead... For some, it doesn't matter.

At the beginning of the story, more than a half of the Earth population have merged with the Flowers. And for some reason, they still try to hide...

She may be not the main character anymore... But she's like ten times more important

This is another character from Windwood Syndrome. Her name is Person.

She is a result of an experiment in copying one's mind. The source mind belongs to another character, Kristina.

She has a complex past and a lot of trauma. Some parts of her mind and some decisions she made after she escaped from the lab the first time are mystery to her as well as to others. She doesn't know why she brings chaos around her, she doesn't remember that she has a purpose to which she agreed herself, all she wants is being accepted as a person... And revenge.

She used to be one of the two main characters in the two first iterations of the comic... Not anymore. She would be pissed if she'd found out.

These were kind of promo banners for a russian speaking comic website that I left because of their LGBTQ+ censorship politics and gen slop endorsement. Also, both of them were rejected. I like the second one the most. Initially this idea was for the cover, and if i change it (the cover) probably I'll use this idea. It's too good of a depiction of Windwood Syndrome

Another character from Windwood Syndrome, Jean Watts. She is a terribly insecure person who tries to prove to everyone that she is the most smartest person ever. She usually succeeds! But when she doesn't, she might literally kill someone out of embarrassment

Also due to sci-fi induced brain damage she has trouble controlling emotions and tries to own it by presenting as chaotic as possible to make it look on purpose

Also she is immortal due to a symbiote in her body (white veins) but her body can't significantly change and after any changes returns to its initial state in which she feels pain nearly all the time, has diarrhea and can't walk without a cane

But don't feel pity toward her! She can and will use it against you

Also she probably performs terrible stand ups

Also she's officially diagnosed as autistic, gone through aba as a child and grew up in Britain

All her life she worked hard to appear as normal as possible, but then sci-fi induced brain damage happened

And she hates when her only friend reminds her of her diagnosis, because sees it as an insult and something degrading (though, her friend usually does use it like that) but if she feels like she can get something out of disclosing it (weirdly enough, she might find a way) she does

She is one of my favorite female characters ever not despite being problematic but for it as well

This is one of my favorite types of characters: a cold, manipulative, but well meaning person who is ready to sacrifice millions (including herself) for the greater good.

I have a character in my comic who heavily resembles her (Kristina) so I've drawn PB with basically her face
