"right side of body less muscle mass than left/joint problems." (Was born in a train car while parents were on their way to the town, as an infant in the train car experienced lack of proper nutrition due to low food supplies)

"is not of the kin but a secret third thing." (Parents are not regional to Russia maybe not even in that part of the Eastern hemisphere...)

"hair has never been cut" (has never cut hair due to vague memories of mother's(?) insistence on the importance of hair as a young child)

"often alone." (Has intense imposter syndrome, cannot play with kids their age growing up due to lack of mobility and deteriorating eye sight in the left eye.)

"cane made of bone and wood." (The kin made them a cane from excess materials in the factory)

"lives in the ruins near the polyhedron." (It's very quiet over there and the isolation of the region in the town is what helped them survive the plague)

"blind in one eye" (their eye sight has always been poor since they could remember, the left eye went completely blind due to cataracts)

"FoxTrot- 'most townsfolk believe that there is only room for one spirit in a body...'" (alludes to the belief they hold that two or more spirits can live in one body- is not clear if the spirits are strictly human or can be other species. When asked if they identify with the 'dogs' or 'soul in a halfs' they say "no" and ask you to listen to what they're saying one more time.)

----some more background ----

•goes to weekly check-up in the theater/hospital after the plague (neither dankoksy or Artemy even knew they existed- Stakh was the only one as they had been a patient of isidor's for years.)

•the townsfolk don't know their exact age and claim them to be the a creature of the steppe, but they are just a person like them. The children think they are immortal- sometimes FoxTrot will tell them they are and make up stories from a long forgotten past.

•FoxTrot doesn't quite know their age either due to poor record keeping in the town (they are aware of this aspect and use it to their advantage)

•is the 'local cripple' (also uses that to their advantage, to educate people, scare locals, and get free food and money by acting like a crippled child)

•is most likely around the same age as Artemy (looks young due to malnutrition)

•abnormally short compared to other townsfolk 'around' their age (164 cm- roughly 5'4)

•growing up no one would talk to them either due to the games the other kids always played being outside, and how FoxTrot would usually just keep to themselves

•FoxTrot would visit the theater to steal old costumes for clothes, paint backdrops, or learn to read via old playbooks. (They also loved to prank Mr. Immortel)

•got their name when they were young after they pulled a harsh prank on Mark Immortel as a teenager and he called them a scheming fox and told them to trot off away from him

•both him and Mr.Immortel have a complex interpersonal relationship (father and child or enemies?)

•no one knows the family origins of FoxTrot only that their parents arrived in town one day with him in their mother's arms

•his parents passed not long After their arrival to the town due to long lasting starvation with little rehabilitation after their journey to The Town on Gorkon

•as a child FoxTrot moved around the town from isidor's clinic to the steppe then to the theater as a pre-teen and as a teenager they fled to establish themselves at the ruins near the polyhedron

----- For those curious about Feral and their mobility aids: They sustained a pretty intense injury to their mid-torso that included nerve damage while The Liberty fell. They were saved but the damage sustained pulled from from combat roster permanently. Due to their extensive knowledge of GAR medical procedure/policy and time spent as the 327th's CMO, They have since been reassigned to overseeing deployed medical personnel on Coruscant. and they're using that position to keep their vode as safe as possible.

I'm trying to learn how to do anything decent in Blockbench, and I made a cute little Minecraft-adjacent OC to practice with. Meet Neelam Anand! As far I've planned at the moment, she has hyper-mobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and scoliosis, and is an ambulatory wheelchair user. I really enjoyed making a wheelchair and forearm crutches in a Minecraft-y style...

Might improve upon her later, but I'm happy with her for now!

(Also, she's probably going to be used for a Minecraft AU thingy I've been quietly working on. Hence the non-canon-style features like the nose, ears, and hair...)

3/21 is world Down Syndrome day!

I decided to do some drawings of my character Cristiano "Tian" Scanagatta to celebrate.

About one in a thousand babies worldwide are born with Down Syndrome, or Trisomy 21. That's a lot of people! DS causes a variety of symptoms, including intellectual disability, facial differences, visual impairments, heart problems, an increased risk for Alzheimer's, and a lot more. Despite how common it is, people with DS are often ignored, but they shouldn't be! Just like every person in the world, they have a lot to offer. We've already come so far— life expectancy for people with Down Syndrome was 12 years old in 1912, and now it's 50 to 60 years old! With continued research, support, and most importantly, listening to people with DS, we can make the world an even better place.
