i don’t know how to explain to you people that no matter what a country’s government is like i do not and will not support the US indiscriminately bombing that country’s civilians and i don’t know why that’s a controversial take tbh

like, okay, consent does literally just mean agree. which is what enables this little rhetorical trick. because there's all this cultural emphasis on sexual consent, which is just expressed as consent, a lot of phrases whose intended meanings are "rape is bad" can be taken literally to mean "i should get to agree to everything that happens in my vicinity."

i get that americans love their cultural imperialism, but it really does piss me off that june is “international” pride month just because something happened in the united states.
in aotearoa, june isn’t our pride, it’s theirs. martha p johnson and sylvia rivera are their historical figures, not ours. the phrase that “you owe your rights to Black trans women” is true there, but here we owe our rights to (mostly) Māori historical figures. i have the freedoms i do because of the legacy of an entirely different set of people operating in an entirely different context at entirely different times.
But because of american cultural imperialism, most queer people in Aotearoa don’t even know our own queer history. Carmen Rupe, Ngahuia Te Awekotuku, the Dorian Society, Gillian Laundon, Georgina Beyer, and the Wolfenden Association are some of our queer history. We should know their names! we should know what they did for us! but because of the power of the american imperial machine, we don’t.
our national pride month should be july, the month that the Homosexual Law Reform Act passed in 1989. our two largest cities hold their pride festivals in february and march, respectively. american queer history has very little (or nothing, depending on who you ask) to do with our queer history. anecdotally, from my own queries, queer youth in aotearoa know more about american queer history than our own.
anyway, happy pride, americans. i’m truly sorry that most of you don’t see the negative impact your nation’s culture has on the rest of the world. and to the rest of the world reading this, try searching for your own country and culture’s queer history, don’t accept the american narratives as your own. we deserve our own histories divorced from the cultural hegemony of the USA.

Some leftists are just people with rigid sets of morals who uphold the exclusionist system of academia. Only us Pure leftists that understand Theory and have the education to Read and Critically analyze advanced texts the One Correct Way are the path to revolution and any leftist individual or leftist organization that Doesn't Do This is Evil and deserves to be dismantled. And there is No Room to Radicalize the masses that Are Not Leftists because theyre impure dumb and bad gross people and this is Revolution. And yeah I hate them. And youre not leftists. And youre really just elitists that uphold the white supremacy principles of logic and rationality and objectivism. And secondly to do a revolution does mean collective action with people you dont like and being able to meet people where theyre at when educating and gaining solidarity.

to be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand whether or not killing civilian aid seekers is bad or not. the morality is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of the torah, ayatollah khamenei's tweets, the mean things that antizionists say to me online, and this image, a lot of the nuances of the situation will fly over the typical commentator's head.

obviously to be clear you should care about us imperial aggression because of its victims, the people of the global south who are immiserated and murdered by it. but also if you are at all a fan of living on a habitable planet you should be deeply concerned by what it means for nonproliferation. how could any state that fears the us as a strategic threat, seeing what is happening in iran right now, not conclude that obtaining nuclear weapons is in fact a necessary priority

tumblr, every other day of the year: do not normalize hanging out with nazis. socializing with nazis is not good and runs the risk of normalizing them to society.
tumblr, when a known nazi says the sky is blue: wow, i never thought I'd see the day when this nazi would ever be correct. give up to this nazi for saying this thing we happen to agree on. congrats to this nazi for sharing a viewpoint with me. i must make sure everyone on the internet knows i agree with this nazi on this one thing.
