The Wallace Collection/UK. Mucha created countless works throughout his life, but this is the only one in which he devoted all his love and enthusiasm. In 1906, a wedding gift to his new wife Mary. The gift was made by Prague jeweler Reina. The design was obviously influenced by Egyptian style, using a variety of gorgeous enamels and the mainstream of the time to create a very exquisite exotic feel. It adds an elegant and delicate side to the rough North African style.

The main body of the necklace is a round frame with three white doves spread out and ready to fly. There are three groups of five gold horseshoe pendants hanging on the lower edge of the frame. The white dove that symbolizes love and marriage, the horseshoe that symbolizes happiness and good luck, and the sacred ring all represent Mucha’s expectations and commitments for the future.
