The Wallace Collection/UK. The collections in the museum are most famous for paintings from the Renaissance to the 19th century, with classic French, Dutch and Flanders names from the 17th and 18th centuries as highlights. Boucher's portrait of Madame Pompidou, the lover of French King Louis XV, Fragonard's classic "The Swing" and Hals's "The Smiling Knight" are all hidden here.

The most fashionable item for ladies in the upper class at the end of the 19th century - the "pansy gold enamel pocket watch", which can be used as a brooch or a pendant. It is often worn on the lapel of clothes in formal occasions. In other situations, it can be worn on the chest or used as a pendant. It also has a very poetic name, love-in-idleness, which means "languor in love."

Mucha created countless works throughout his life, but this is the only one in which he devoted all his love and enthusiasm. In 1906, a wedding gift to his new wife Mary. The gift was made by Prague jeweler Reina. The design was obviously influenced by Egyptian style, using a variety of gorgeous enamels and the mainstream of the time to create a very exquisite exotic feel. It adds an elegant and delicate side to the rough North African style.
The main body of the necklace is a round frame with three white doves spread out and ready to fly. There are three groups of five gold horseshoe pendants hanging on the lower edge of the frame. The white dove that symbolizes love and marriage, the horseshoe that symbolizes happiness and good luck, and the sacred ring all represent Mucha’s expectations and commitments for the future.
