Also there’s some behind the scenes stuff under the cut
This piece took me 39 hours and 58 minutes!!! Not just because of so much detailing that I had to do, but also because I did a major repaint 2 times…..
This was the first attempt, I didn’t like how the asteroids turned out and also the piece was too dark….. I usually draw in the evening with the lights off before going to bed. So the piece looks okay in the dark, but in the morning it all bites me in the ass, because apparently I can’t see shit!
The second attempt was lighter in tone, more colourful and I finally figured out the technique for the background asteroids. But when I started painting the foreground ones, it just felt… odd. As if it was too over complicated for this illustration. So I had to think again about how will I manage this. I’m satisfied with the final solution, though.
In the end, it was a very demanding piece, but I’m happy that I didn’t give up! It turned out good I think!
Oh dang I sounds like that one character that would got beaten up million times by other characters in a lot of fanart and fanfic

Bastard (Good)
You’re a bastard. A wet cat, if you will. And we love you for it. You’re a little shit, but in the good way. You are the baddest babygirl. You killed a man, but you looked good doing it. You flirted with the hero and the enemy. All of Tumblr is madly in love with you. Congrats, I guess?

Some of us accept where our journey has led us to, while others embark on a new challenge. One thing in this World is certain – you can't have it all."
