Channel branding

Nickelodeon was the channel I grew up on as a kid. Its bright orange colour splashes and memorable cartoons stuck with me for years. However it was the Nick Jr “face” I remember most clearly, a simple face that I would babble to between episodes of Dora the Explorer and Blues clues. It is the Nick Jr face I have the most nostalgia for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxN8CQCM5II&t=9s 

‘Face’ as he was simply known was a bumper between ads and shows often talking about the weather, teaching the alphabet song, or letting the toddler watching what show was on next.  Its been 16 years since I last watched nick junior but the simplicity of his design remains memorable to me to this very day.
