You don't want to vote for any other reason? How about the four grand times four years he'll cost you every time you buy anything?

We're all forced to participate in systems we don't want to participate in. Capitalism is the most ubiquitous example. We're forced to be a part of it by the most basic needs. We can't yet escape it. Maybe someday we'll figure it out, but until then we just have to make the best of it and be as ethical within it as possible.
Voting is yet another system. We're going to live with and feel the results no matter what. And the choices we make will affect us and others. It's inescapable. We just have to make sure to do the least harm. And in that case, with two parties vying for power and one of those two guaranteed to win? We have to vote for the one most likely to be moved on issues important to us.
We all know that's Kamala Harris. We all know she's at the very least a decent person, able to be persuaded on things. So just... do the right thing. You can deny it and say you didn't vote, or that you voted third party or whatever you want to tell people. But do that tiny task to help your fellow humans. It's what adults do.
I’m not voting. Harris is complicit in genocide.
“i am ok with allowing a fascist — who will do exponentially more harm to the ppl i am claiming to care abt — to win bc otherwise the other tumblr tankies will bully me for being a cringe liberal”

FYI: In the US, if you've been kicked from registration even though you're eligible to vote, you can report it to the DOJ:

In fact, if anyone tries to bar or intimidate you from voting, you can report it, because that shit's a federal offence. 🗳️

Imagine that. Maybe this is the one time he's telling the truth. He said something about moving to Venezuela if he loses this time. Hopefully he's in prison instead. But just imagine; 2028 election without him on the ballot! What a relief that would be...

“Emails obtained by the Guardian reveal a behind-the-scenes network of county election officials throughout Georgia coordinating on policy and messaging to both call the results of November’s election into question before a single vote is cast, and push rules and procedures favored by the election denial movement. […] Receiving the email were a handful of county election officials who have expressed belief in Donald Trump’s false claims of a stolen election in 2020, and have continued to implement policies and push for rules based on the belief that widespread election fraud threatens to result in a Trump loss in Georgia in November. They include Michael Heekin, a Republican member of the Fulton county board of elections who refused to certify results this year; his colleague Julie Adams, who has twice refused to certify results this year and works for the prominent national election denier groups Tea Party Patriots and the Election Integrity Network; and Debbie Fisher of Cobb county, Nancy Jester of DeKalb county and Roy McClain of Spalding county – all of whom refused to certify results last November.”
Network of Georgia election officials strategizing to undermine 2024 result | US elections 2024
Just gonna highlight this part:
a behind-the-scenes network of county election officials throughout Georgia coordinating on policy and messaging to both call the results of November’s election into question before a single vote is cast, and push rules and procedures favored by the election denial movement.
They are plotting to call the results of November’s election into question before a single vote is cast. I hope the Department of Justice is all over this.
