It's really hard for him to think once he gets the news. Jin delivering it to him past the sobs he's trying to control. Surprisingly, he's not crying one bit, he's not smiling one bit. He's not sad one bit. He just feels, empty. Like a black hole opened and sucked every remaining feeling he had down into it. Sensei is gone, Sensei is gone. I loved Sensei, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Sensei. So fucking stupid, he knew Takaya would die at some point he knew yet he thought that for a second, just for a second everything'd be fine.
