Orikan is great because he's this extremely competent chronomancer, a rare genius of a craft that requires immense amounts of self-discipline and patience, so good at what he does that he's able to casually and regularly achieve things other crypteks think to be near impossible
And then something not relating to his work slightly inconveniences him and he turns into a screeching, cursing beast, and you learn that he's actually perpetually pissed off because nobody listened to his warnings 65 millions years ago
So now he's on a personal quest to grow his powers to the point where he's able to achieve godhood, which he's well on his way there thanks to the raw strength of his two primary motivators: obsession and spite
So, our siblings are back together again! This makes me soooooo happy. I love the 3 of them together. Maybe they can find everyone else if they work together.
I'm getting the feeling that Sora is going to run away. Feelings in inadequacy and imperfection seem to nag at her, despite the fact that she's incredible and perfect as she is. She's comparing herself to Arin - who's his own thing - and that's... that's not good. I know from experience.
I'm expecting her to run away in the next episode or so. And it's going to hurt.
Lloyd, check on your daughter. Please.
Or Kai or Nya? Maybe sit down with your niece and tell her stories about how much Lloyd doubted himself and his own abilities? She really needs some comfort.
Alright, plan for tomorrow is to reply to reblogs and comments and messages before liveblogging. I don't think I'll get thru all of yesterday and todays, but I'll get thru a good chunk. Anyway, planning on 1 episode tomorrow. Until then!
In Skyrim you can poison people to death by putting poison in their pockets and I’ve never understood what activity thats supposed to represent. Like a lot of stuff in video games is representative of real life actions rather than being accurate depictions of them. Like if you join a guild or something it can be expected that in universe you’re probably hanging around the guild hall and meeting people or whatever but as the player you have maybe one conversation with someone. And you’re not shown wearing a backpack or carrying a bag in most games but it’s implied that you have one.
So when you put poison in someone’s pocket obviously you’re not literally just putting a bottle of poison in their pocket because then they’ve just got a bottle of poison in their pocket.
So are you like? Putting it on their skin? Shoving it up their ass? Rubbing it into a paper cut? Poisoning their dress like you’re trying to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I in a historically innacurate biopic? It’s extremely unclear.
Maybe you’re just smashing the bottle on them without them noticing somehow
Being as Dracula Daily is starting up again in about three days, I think this is a perfect opportunity, as we follow along this year, to play the PG-13 game.
For the unfamiliar, the PG-13 game is as follows: you are allowed to insert one and only one instance of the word "fuck" into the text as written. For maximum impact, where do you put it?
