– you would often train together and hangout after school, doing what ever. sometimes at your place, other times at his.

– what he admired about you was how hard you worked and how kind you are, it just made his heart go soft?

– you kinda of interested him, well more like he assumed you hated him. around your friends tanjiro and mitsuri you where all happy and more outgoing, but as soon as inosuke showed up you where quiet and very reserved.

– he didn’t like that, the king of the mountains shouldn’t be treated with such disrespect. he would’ve been willing to make you one of his underlings but, you seemed to not want to?

“aaaah!” he would suddenly scream as he popped up in front of you, your heart nearly leaping from your chest.

“inosuke! you startled me”

“[ name ] become my underling !!” he would say often and you would just deny his offer, causing him to let out a loud scream.

– this process happened daily, you attempted to avoid the loud boar boy, he’d offer to make you his underling, and then screaming.

“he’s trying his best [ name ] to be your friend, why not give him a chance?”

“he’s kinda scary...”

– inosuke happened to over hear that you found him scary. was it because if you both fought, you would lose? inosuke didn’t know. he decided to ask monjiro for advice.

“inosuke, you have to be more calm, some people don’t like yelling.”

– inosuke understood. instead of approaching you yelling each day, he would simple walk over and tap your shoulder and say.

“would you like to become my underling?” his voice wasn’t quietly but, it was an improvement,

“hm.. how about friends instead?” you would say.

glaring [ sanemi x reader ]

in which you often catch sanemi staring at you

his eye where intimidating, he was intimidating in general. as you grew closer to sanemi, you came to realize despite how he actaully acts he’s a very caring person.

“stop being a demon slayer” really meant “i don’t want you to get hurt” he was like that towards you and genya, of course he was more serious about it with genya since didn’t have a breathing style.

even though you knew he wasn’t that mean, catching him glaring at you so oftenly was slightly terrifying. you would be mind your bussiness as you got treated at the butterfly estate after a mission with Sanemi, and you would see him glaring at you from across the room. if you where training awaiting your next mission anytime sanemi would walk by he’s send you a glare. did you do something wrong.

confronting your friend giyuu seemed like a good idea but, was probably the worst.

“sanemi keeps glaring at me.” you would say confronting best boy.

“oh. there was a time where he’d only glare at me, now he glared and yells at me too. i think he’s starting to hate you [ name ]” giyuu said, offering his best advice.

“oh...” you said, as a frown made its way to your face. the idea of your partner and the person you had a crush on disliking you made you feel a bit sad.

for the next couple days you would avoid sanemi until you had no choice but interact with him, on the way to the next mission you two where assigned. the beginning was silent, neither of you really saying anything until, someone decided to break the silence.

“hey.” sanemi spoke, his sudden words suddenly shocking you. “are you fucking ignoring me?”

he seemed mad, he sounded mad, he sounded as sanemi normally sounded, irritated.

“i didn’t want to bother—”

“you always bother me anyways was the difference?” he cut off, not even batting an eye at his harsh remark. why did you like him again?

“you seemed extra irritated, all you’ve done is glare at me.” you spoke, a frown forming on your face.

“me? glaring? at you? i’ve been staring at you but i haven’t been fucking glaring at you?” sanemi said, honestly.

“oh, what ever could i have done wrong for you to watch me for no reason.” you sighed.

“your biggest issue is being pretty at everything you do causing my heart to act up,” he said. your eyes widened as you glanced over at him, noticing his cheeks turning a slight pink color. “that’s actually pretty damn annoying,”.

– you both debated who would walk who home.

– if shinobu iwalked you home, it would be more calm, after all you lived alone.

– he would come out yelling asking you both questions.

Halloween with the Pillars! Modern

sorry i haven’t wrote anything, i’ve been busy!

Sanemi

– Halloween with him would consist of terrifying the children who show up at the door asking for candy

– sanemi was the kid who went around breaking pumpkins when he was younger

– if you where against him trying to terrify the children, you would always try to get to the door before him.

– if you liked scary the children with him, you would dress up and take turns each time someone came to the door.

– after the trick or treaters stopped showing up you both would sit down and binge watch horror movies together.

– if you where scared, he would hug you to make you feel safe. and sometimes attempt to scare you during the movie.

– in the end you both had fun together on this spooky holiday.

Giyuu

– you practically begged the boy to dress up with you and go trick or treating with you eventually he gave in.

– he dressed up as a ghost, he literally took the sheet off the bed and covered himself in it. simple costume and it would keep him warm.

– you on the other hand dressed in something more extravagant, a ghost but with eyeholes cut out.

– you both went to house to house, and even stopped at some of the other pillars houses.

“can we go home?”

“not yet giyuu, we haven’t got to the place that gives out big candy!”

“i’ll just buy you some”

“i like free stuff”

– giyuu eventually convinced you to go home.

– the two of you watched christmas movies wrapped in a blanket based on giyuu’s request.

Rengoku

– rengoku likes halloween just as much as you, you both decided to get matching halloween costumes.

– rengoku has all the houses memorized with the best candy.

– of course the you both where the first out trick or treating and the last ones home.

– you tried convincing the other pillars to join you and the only one who would join the two of you was mitsuri.

– when you got home, you would carve pumpkins and sort the candy, while spooky scary skeletons played in the background.

– you finally would lay in bed and turn on monster house before going to sleep, cuddling with each other.

Uzui & Wifes

– the 5 of you agreed to dress as power rangers for halloween.

– the halloween costume that you ordered for uzui was too short, after all he’s rlly tall.

– he didn’t mind he wanted to have fun with his 4 wives.

– you all decided to stay home and play halloween based games and watch movies while eating candy.

– if anyone knocked on the door they would all ignore it.

– you decided to make pumpkin bread for everyone such they where all greatful for.

Obanai

– he loved halloween. he got to walk around wearing his mask, and his snake on his shoulders and no one would complain.

– you loves it as well, seeing how happy it made him.

– you would dress up as something simple.

– the two of you would go to restaurant that give our free food to the people who dress up.

– of course you also bought the discount candy after halloween was over.

– like rengoku, the two of you loved halloween,

– instead of trick or treating you would hold a halloween party at your house inviting everyone you know.

– the two of you spent months in preparation, decorations, invitations, music, costumes, it was probably one of the best halloween party’s

– after it ended the two of you would watch halloween movies all night long until the morning. you would head straight to the store and purchase the discount decorations and costumes for next year.

Shinobu

– halloween was spent with shinobu always trying to scare you.

– if you where scared easily, she would do it very often which made the whole day you trying to figure out when she’d pop out somewhere.

– if you weren’t scared easily, each year would have something super scary that would honestly be terrifying.

– of course you would try to scare her back also, which sometimes you would accomplish.

Sabito

– idc what anyone says sabito is a pillar in my eyes

– the two of you would go to haunted houses on halloween, trying to see who would get the most scared.

– if you’re scared easily, sabito would try to be the best boyfriend and be very protective on you. of course he would sometimes end up scaring you in the process of him being terrified.

– if you aren’t scared easily you would try to be the best help you could be for him and hold his hand.

the moment the soft music filled his ears, he felt his body relax, surprise himself. giyuu rarely relaxed, especially when he was in the process searching for a demon in the town he was him. but, the sound of the instrument being played somewhere near him, was so peaceful and beautiful he couldn’t help but, want to hear more.

giyuu looked up at the sky, it was mid day so he had time before the demon would actual show up. luckily for him, he knew where the demon was and that it wouldn’t be to difficult to fight. so he had time to see where this music was coming from.

the sound was coming from a small restaurant that you where playing at the center stage. he watched you in awe and almost got kicked out for not finding a seat. he took a seat close to the front where he could listen and enjoy the music better. of course he ordered something small (a drink) and sat there listening to you play.

after awhile you stopped and stepped down from the piano, he assumed it was your break time and he had to leave so as well. giyuu mustered you the courage to confront you.

“exscuse me,” he said, grabbing your attention. you glanced over at him, and smiled.

“yes? can i help you?” you spoke, your voice sounding as soft and lovely as your playing.

“i just wanted to say... you’re very talented.” giyuu, said before he turned to walk away.

hii suddenly leaving surprised you, “ah! thank you!” you said, loud enough so he could hear you.

after this day, giyuu would make a note to come to this cafe when ever he was near this town in order to listen to you okay. the two of you grew closer as you began talking.

Inosuke x Reader

summary = in which everyone is connected to their soulmate by a red string but, you can only see it if your skin makes contact.

– you knew inosuke but, only because your friend zenitsu was friends with him.

– his loud screaming, randomly ramming his head into a tree, cursing, and the occasional running through a wall was highkey intimidating.

– you weren’t a demon slayer, you where a nurse that helped at the butterfly estate. so if inosuke ever came some how hurt you would kinda avoid him.

– that didn’t work this time though, everyone else besides you was helping someone else and inosuke, needed assistance himself.

– inosuke has a cut across him chest and you had to stitch it up. you disinfected it, but the moment you placed your hand on his chest to begin stitching you saw a red thread appear on your finger.

– you stared at it for a moment confused, before you heard inosuke began yelling and flailing his arm around. he also had a string attached to his finger.

“what the hell is this ?!” he shouted.

– everyone in the room turned towards the two of you, their eyes widened but seeming to understand what’s going on more than the two of you did.

“inosuke & [ name ] are soulmates ?!?!” zenitsu shouted, in shock.

“soulmates?! what the fuck is that?!” inosuke responded.

“please tell me this is a joke...” you said, practically terrified.

– zenitsu explained to inosuke what a soul mate was, you removed your hand from his chest, and the string disappeared.

“soulmate? tch, i don’t need one.”

– his words hurt a bit, it’s not that you wanted him to be your soulmate but, you would’ve been willing to give him a chance.

“i don’t want you as my soulmate.” you muttered to yourself.

– it wasn’t long before practically everyone at the butterfly estate knew you and inosuke are soulmates. people would say things like ‘do you like him? he’s kinda cute’ ‘wow i cant believe you and inosuke are soulmates! you’re comeplete opposites.’

– shinobu and mitsuri found the fact that you and inosuke are soulmates adorable.

– shinobu would often talk to you about inosuke’s good points.

“you know [ name ] inosuke is a very strong demon slayer!” shinobu would say.

“you’re stronger though.” you would respond.

“that’s true but, inosuke has potential to be a great demon slayer as well! maybe you should at least get to know him a bit?”

“maybe...”

– you took shinobu’s advice and decided to talk to inosuke but, you weren’t even sure what to talk about. what did he even like ?

– you approached to feral boar and simple said hello, and he seemed to be staring at you but, you weren’t 100% sure since he had a boar head on.

– he responded by, saying your name incorrectly. which didn’t surprise you since he always got tanjiro & zenitsu’s names wrong.

“my name is [ name ]”

“ [ incorrect name ] “

– you just sighed, how would you get along with him?

“oh, [ incorrect name ] thanks for stitching me up the other day.”

“thanks for saying you don’t need a soulmate”

– you didn’t care, you really didn’t but, his words still irritated you... just a bit.

“why are you mad about that? it takes to much fucking effort to go out and look for one. who has time for that?”

– it occurred to you that maybe inosuke didn’t understand the fact that you where his soulmate, or maybe he did?

– there was a pause, a slightly long pause before he began to laugh.”

“ very fun [ incorrect name ] zebnitsu said, there’s a red string that attaches soulmates. i don’t see a red string.”

– you where dumbfounded, did he not see the red str— you realize he might not have, after all he always wheres that pig mask on his face, how could he have seen the string.

“inosuke, take off your mask.”

“i don’t want to fuck you.”

“take it off for 30 seconds and i’ll bring extra food for you tonight.”

– inosuke couldn’t argue with that, he took the mask off and held it in one hand. you stared at his face, paying attention to the details and shape. he was pretty, you knew that but you never payed to much attention.

– after couple seconds you grabbed his hand shocking him, and held it up where he could see the red string appear on both of your hands. his eyes wideneding.

“wait, so you’re saying i don’t have to go look for my soulmate since, you’re right here?”

“exactly.”

“oh okay, that’s fun.”

– the two of you began talking more after today and hanging out gray lily growing closer to each other.

s/o won’t die because i cant see my bby’s sad, it’s so heartbreaking.

Kamado Tanjiro

– the moment he saw you laying what seemed lifeless on the ground his heart stopped, the scent of your blood was sickening.

– he didn’t waste anytime rushing towards you, shouting your name. he picked he fell to the ground holding your body in his arms, checking to see if you had any sign of life. thankfully you did.

– tanjiro picked up and carried you to the butterfly estate as quickly as he could, your mission wasn’t to far from it so he was able to get their quickly,

– when you arrived, they didn’t waste any time treating you. tanjiro, insisted that they worry about your injuries instead of his own.

– after what seemed decades, they told tanjiro that you would be okay, though they weren’t sure when you would wake up.

– tanjiro wanted to be next to you as soon as possible but they insisted he received treatment first. soon after he sat next to your bed, resting his head on the bed staring at you.

– the moment you woke up tanjiro felt relief to see you where finally awake. he called the nurses(?) in to have them make sure everything was fine.

“name i was so worried! next mission, your never leaving my sight!”

– the next few days tanjiro spent hugging you, holding you hand, and making sure you where comfort until you where fully recovered.

Hashibira Inosuke

– it couldn’t be you, that wasn’t possible. the [ name ] he knew wouldn’t have been beaten like this. he didn’t want to believe you where the one laying on the ground.

– but it was you, and you where laying on the ground. he made his way over to you and kneeled on the ground pulling you into his arms.

– he almost cried, until he realized your heart was beating and that you hadn’t lost just yet. you being alive was a win in itself.

– he rushed to the butterfly estate, almost leaving his boar head but, of inosuke could never forget it.

– as soon as they would see inosuke in a panicked state carrying you. they would rush over to help you, of course inosuke wanted to help but, he wouldn’t be able to in this situation.

– inosuke wanted to make sure you where okay, and sit in the room while you received treatment but, they said no once again.

– as soon as they opened the door, inosuke rushed in not even bothering to ask if they where done. he just had a feeling they where.

“ [ name ] !! did you win ??”

– aoi slapped him in the back of the head, shocking the boar like boy.

“shh. they’re sleeping!”

– inosuke wanting to shout at aoi, just pressed his lips together and nodded his head.

– from this moment on, inosuke didn’t leave your side and even refused when they offered to help with the couple wounds he had. he would respond with just a loud scream.

– the moment you woke up, you saw inosuke sleeping with his head on your bed. you smiled slightly and pushed a few stands on his hair out of his face.

– you unintentionally woke him up. the moment he saw you, he sat up quickly pulling you into a tight hug.

“ [ name ] !! you won! i knew you were strong!”

– after making sure inosuke got his small wounds taken care of, the next few days inosuke made sure that you where safe. anyone he considered a potential ‘threat’ he wouldn’t let near you. the threat (zenitsu) just wanted to make sure you where okay,

Agatsuma Zenitsu

– zenitsu didn’t waste a moment before rushing towards you seeing you laying on the ground. it felt as if he was going to pass out.

“ if only i wasn’t so weak... this wouldn’t have happened. [ name ]... i’m so sorry!”

– zenitsu brought you to the butterfly estate and waited impatiently.

“are they almost done?”

“is [ name ] gonna be okay?”

“can i please see them?”

– he asked questions almost constantly, he was very worried about you.

– as soon as he was able to see you, he went into the room and sat with you. he smiled seeing you sleeping, he felt as if everything would be okay now.

– he would often talk to you as if you where awake, telling you how much he loved and cared about you. he often apologized as well.

— when you woke up, you heard zenitsu speaking.

“also, [ name ] i’m the one who broke your bracelet—”

“i knew it!”

– hearing your words, his eyes widened and he turned toward you. he didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around you placing a kiss on your cheek.

Nightmares : Giyuu x Reader

– nightmares taunted giyuu from time to time. he lived in a world filled with human eating demons, and his job was to kill them. on top of that he had lost friends and family to them, who wouldn’t have nightmares?

– he woke up around 2 in the morning after having a nightmare. his hands shaking, his heart racing, and was almost to the brink of tears. he had watched a demon take the life of his only loved one, you.

– it was hard for him to recover after nightmares, they would often cause panic attacks or render him unable to move. both where equally bad in his eyes.

– you woke up to the sound of giyuu’s heavy breathing and knew instantly what it meant. you sat up and bed, and pulled him into a hug, patting his back, trying to calm him.

“it’s okay, i’m here...”

– giyuu burried his head into the crook of your neck, his arms holding you tight as if you could disappear at any moment.

“ [ name ] ... please don’t ever leave me.”

– his voice was shaking as he spoke, his hands still shaking. he cared so much for you, he couldn’t imagine losing someone else.

“i won’t, don’t worry.”

– you ran your fingers through his hair gently, playing with it, one of his favorite things. after awhile he seemed to calm down and fall asleep, the two of you now laying down. you kissed his forehead, before shut your eyes. his arms still holding you close to him.

Jealous! Giyuu x Reader

– giyuu wasn’t normally the jealous type, he never really looked at someone and thought ‘i want that sword’ or ‘i wish i was that cool’. he didn’t care too much about things like that.

– but when it came to you, it was a whole different story. he felt a strong surge of jealousy, after seeing you talking to sanemi, laughing and smiling,

– at first he mistaked it for anger, after all him and sanemi didn’t get along to well at all. but the same thing occurred when he saw you talking with rengoku. and he was confused ??? he had nothing against rengoku, he should feel angry or irritated?

– if it wasn’t for tanjiro’s strong sense of smell and sudden confortation. he would have never realized he was jealous.

“giyuu, you’re giving off a strong scent of jealous, are you okay?”

– jealousy. he was jealous, now that it made sense he could ignore the feeling and move on... or so he thought.

– giyuu noticed that you had begun talking to the pillars more than him, well it was more of equally deciding your attention between all the pillars but, it was less time he got to spend with you.

– you approached giyuu one afternoon with a cheerful smile on your face.

“want to get get something to eat with me ?"

– giyuu heard your words and kind of felt... unsure? ya, he wanted to but, wouldn’t you rather go with someone else? why him? and that’s exactly what he said.

“why don’t you just go with someone else.”

– he muttered. his words sounded harsher than he wanted them to. he watched as your bright expressions dimmed, making the feeling of guilt form on his chest.

“i wanted to go with you that’s why i asked, but if you don’t want to go—”

“that’s not it... you’re just hanging out with the other pillars so much... why would you want to hangout with me.”

“Giyuu are you jealous?”

– your words shocked him, bringing a slight blush to his face. amused, you smile.

— you wanted to know the reason, it was rare to see the water pillar jealous and blushing. it was cute.

— to you on the other hand it was major, the painting you spent hours on??? ruined ??? and it’s minor to him??? that irritated you. you glared at him and turned away, from him.

— giyuu knee when you where irritated but, it wasn’t something that happened often. he wondering if he could make you feel better ?

“ [ name ] i think you’re painting looks fine!”

— after hearing his compliment, you felt your anger reside. you turned towards him and smiled. you knew your painting was absolutely disgusting but giyuu’s words where sweet.

— you wrapped your arms around him hugging him tightly. after all, you loved him. how could you stay mad at him?

— giyuu blushed feeling you hug him, he wrapped his arms around you in response and they two of you say there enjoying each other’s company.

— seeing you cry was unusual, actaully sanemi wasn’t even sure if he had ever seen you cry before. you where known to be very strong, and didn’t let your happy vibe disappear.

— he wasn’t sure how to react, should he approach you? did you want to be left alone? he was worried he’d say something rude and make you feel worst.

— he decide to bring you your favorite food in hope to cheer you up, that wouldn’t require too much effort.

— you looked at him questioningly, feel better? what was their to feel— it occurred to you he might’ve seen you ‘crying’.
