The rail journey to quetta is nothing short of adventure, I traveled in Jaffer express which goes from Peshawar to Quetta, after sibbi station the empty cars of train are disassembled and another engine is assembled to the train to help the train ascent in mountains, then the two engine pulls the train through different tunnels, rugged mountains and beautiful landscape. its the most beautiful train journey i had in Pakistan, if you wanna visit quetta you must take the trian. Quetta railway station is one of the highest railway stations in Pakistan at 1,676 metres (5,499 feet) above sea level.
