INKTOBER DAY 25: ADVENTUROUS, 'Meet the Artist.' Obviously not fandom related, but this is me, and of course, the best good boy, Rowlf.

I picked this prompt for this "IRL Portrait" because I'm extra nervous to share a more detailed bit of myself, but I decided to be brave... adventurous if you will. The photo I used for a reference was one my sister took because of how lovey Rowlf was being. But that day was a hard one for me. I wasn't feeling well, I'd realized my paycheck that pay period wasn't going to be enough, and I'd had a panic attack earlier that day. I was on edge and feeling extremely brittle. Rowlf, who has never been formally trained, was doing the emotional support, lovey, weighted blanky thing that he just seems to know I need.

Even now, it's been several days since I last posted. It's been kind of rough around here this past week. But we're surviving, and Rowlf has been right there with us, despite his normal routine having been disrupted some this week. He really is the best good boy, and I am so thankful for him.

Just as I'm thankful for my community here, people I may never meet face to face, but who are friends and encouragers, and the most caring support anyone could possibly ask for. Thank you, dearest ones. Also, thank you, @bluebellofbakerstreet , for the prompts that help me to take a step outside of my comfort zone and try hard things. 💙💙💙

One Sentence Review: I've read this book more times than I can count, and I love it just as much every time - Sage is the perfect narrator (sassy, secretive, and too clever for his own good), and the twists and turns throughout the book never fail to keep me on the edge of my seat (even though I know all the twists and turns by heart).
