it always feels like this when they try to make some random duo from the skating competition a thing and they both canonically and irl just don't stand a chance with anyone
#gaston was kinda ok as a skater but delfina was... bad#same with most of them...#it either didn't work at all as a thing or one of them was kinda hyped as this great skater in the future and#they weren't anything like that...#i remember that a little bit into the show when nina is trying to really learn how to skate delfi and jazmin pick on her#which is both partially annoying and hilarious#i've seen you two skate#you don't have enough skills to pick on nina c'mon#soy luna#also out of context (kinda) i love this meme lol#i quote it way too much

perla and tomás were in the show for like 2 seconds and only in the background (and they were also probably the only professionals/better skaters in the whole crew) and i think about them every time i think about soy luna, i miss u goats
#legit in my top 5 if we're talking about my favourite SL characters (even tho we know literally almost nothing about them)#i was so into their characters since the start as soon as i noticed them#+ florencia (the actress that interpreted perla) is a legit ice skater and won a bunch of important international competitions#this reminds me of the fact that soy luna was initially supposed to be an ice skating show#and tomás actor isn't credited sadly so i don't know about his whole experience with skating in general#soy luna
