One morning you cut yourself while shaving.

There is nobody behind you in the pocket mirror’s reflection.

You turn fast, and the razor is like a Kukri knife in your hand.

also I'm working on my IZ + OMORI crossover and I'll share with you the sketches

and versions of other characters i made too

explaining the lore a little:

in this crossover/AU Zim was actually a real simple boy, but Dib was a little mentally unhealthy and was often visited by various hallucinations and paranoia, but he was actually close friends with Zim (they were both outcasts who wandered hand in hand with each other) and they played like little children from reality, only for Dib these games were almost like reality

over a long time, something bad could have happened to Zim, because of Dib, and this could have broken Dib... without Zim he was left completely alone, and his sister still didn't treat him very well, so he could have mentality died, started being a hikikomori and remained to live in his fictional world, which was increasingly turning from childhood fantasies into a real and dark horror tied to the disappearance of Zim from his life

also Dib is afraid of almost everything, because of which he could behave not very adequately and safely, which is why he became an outcast and even his own sister avoids him and Zim was his support and life partner, who saved him from difficulties.

as for his headspace, it could be surrounded by fictional characters and images tied to the paranormal and religious (all sorts of living ghosts, fairies, mermaids and all that stuff)

and the black space began to develop and spread due to the struggle with his fears, among which his main fear was the realization that Dib is alone and Zim is not really around anymore, where Dib opening the hidden by his fears truth about Zim's disappearing.

in life, Dib could often talk out loud to himself and fantasize the image of Zim nearby as a tulpa or imaginary friend, looking like an alien from his dreams (and the observer of the crossover sees him, unlike the other characters from life).

being absolutely alone Dib had to start living independently and struggling with the difficulties he has to face, on a path in which he will sooner or later have to accept the truth about what he did and stop living in a children's fantasy world

in general, the crossover turns out to be a ZADF or platonic ZADR, in which Dib experiences a breakdown in relations with the main support of his entire life.
