i am freed. with my hcs confirmed breaking my chains. jade and floyd both have italian accents. jade's is more subtle than his brother's of course. but both of them can speak fluent italian, floyd however is a lot more casual with how he talks- even when he's speaking with his parents or family friends.

so some stuff from the event

jade genuinely considers malleus, rook, and riddle his friends. as well as yuu and grim. he's happy to have them along- and makes a point to show them around as best he can ( it's his first time visiting where the event takes place too ).

as stated in previous cards, and implied here- the twins parents both get along pretty damn well and work together cohesively. they're also both worriers, and fuss over their sons a lot.

floyd got his UM first. jade got his two months after him. jade believed floyd was the only one of the two of them who'd get one, because he thinks his brother is special.

neither of their parents are mages. but both were very happy when they found out their sons could attend NRC. but georgina says that at first she didn't want them to have any special talents- since they'd be in danger. but relented, and figured more weapons / power was good to have to ensure they'd survive.

jade can speak italian.

a lot of the twins mannerisms mirror their mother's.

she gets on jade for bullying his friends too much. but, spoils the hell out of them both and enables their behavior a lot lol.

BABY JADE LORE ??? he and floyd got along fairly well as kids. which i think is from her own perspective, as floyd mentioned in the past that sometimes he and jade really fought when they got on each others nerves. mama leech mentions though that when they both were being naughty, they were in perfect sync. they'd go to the reefs and bully larger fish together,,, which is where they got their earrings! they'd get in trouble for making people worry too much, because they swam out too far or were off where their parents didn't know.

jade and malleus bonding time really made me happy. jade stating he was happy he invited him, because he seemed to be enjoying himself.

" Uhh yeah, 'course I do. What kinda question is that? " Floyd's head tilts, the wooden stick of a since eaten popsicle between his teeth. Surely he's said it enough already, made it pretty obvious. Pinching their cheeks, hanging off of them and cooing at them until they give him their attention. He wasn't like his brother, he told people what he thought right off the bat. He's always thought Lyric was pretty cute, since the beginning. Even when they were shying away- all anxiety, puffed up like a pufferfish- or trying to hide like a flounder.

He leans over and drapes one arm around Lyrics shoulders. Hugging them a little closer to him, not an unusual thing to do. He's always clinging onto them because they let him do it. Seemingly unbothered anymore. But he's even closer this time, to press his cheek against their hair. Rubbing back and forth in a rough motion, a sort of mimickry of what Lyric's done to him before. Yes he remembers, he's caught them doing it on more than one occasion.

" You're one of the cutest fishies here, Karei-chan~ " reiterating what he's already said many time. It's weirdly frustrating, but it adds to that cuteness. Not sure if he wants to keep nuzzling against their head- or if he wants to bite them.

What an amusing question. As if Jade's never given them a clear answer in the time they've known one another. Has he been that dishonest? Suppose he can be a bit cunning at times, clever with how he words things. But he's never had any reason to outright lie to Lyric before. The skepticism is no doubt thanks to rumors, and the stigma that comes with Octavinelle and it's penchants. Jade will be the last to deny that they've played more than half the school on multiple occasions. Gullible students eager to meet the expectations of their teachers and parents.

The thing is though, it's never been about what they could give him. Money is of very little interest to him. And if he wants something, something he can hold, then he'll just take it. Jade's satisfaction in his work here at Night Raven has come consistently from the misfortune of others. People who get what they want, but anguish in not getting it the way they wanted it.

Lyrics mistake here is revealing what it is they're afraid of.

a little summary / guide on the tweels signature spells. or at least how i write them and have them working when i write here.

floyd: bind the heart

in short. his spell gets in the way of others attacks so that always end up missing. but i think this applies to anything targeted at him. if something is done with the intent to attack, hit, harm, or effect floyd- his spell can make it miss, reflect it, or can even cause it to fizzle out to nothing. it's a very strong spell, but also very dependent on his moods and motivation to actually use it effectively.

jade: shock the heart

after someone looks into his eye, they are forced to speak the truth. once he's asked them a question of course. this one is very limited in canon; so i write it with a lot more flexibility. usually he can slip this spell into any conversation. and while it usually works fine- it works MUCH better on people who are emotionally compromised. it is also important to note, that the stronger someone's magic is, the easier it is to protect yourself from it. hence why he doesn't use it on just anyone. he is very careful and very particular about it's use. and much prefers to get information out of people in other ways instead.
