Porphyria is not a strong person. She is shy, timid, fickle, easily influenced, and never wants to displease anyone. The girl is a doormat plain and simple. Please feel free to have your character take full advantage of that should they be the type to do so.

@challengeborne
After Porphyria’s ‘incident’ as her family liked to call it, they had known that it would be impossible to keep rumors from being spread. With this in mind they had made certain to paint it in a light that would keep from casting a shadow over their dear Porphyria’s good name. Porphyria hadn’t been meeting with the man of course, but rather he had accosted her without warning.
The story had spread as expected, and left her name on the wagging tongues of all of society. She didn’t much care for the attention it brought her, as she was forced to make her appearances, reassuring all that she was indeed still well and marriageable. Nor for the pitying looks it garnered her as everyone whispered her name as if she were not there.
It was this reason that she had attempted an escape to a balcony for some air, only to find it was already occupied. “Pardon, I did not realize someone was already here.”

In group situations, and sometimes private ones, Porphyria is more often the type to observe than to participate. She is very aware of her surroundings, when she is mentally present in them (which she frequently isn’t), but often she can either see two sides too well or is too indifferent to form her own opinions on the matters at hand.

@withinycu/ Phaidra
Bare feet dipped in water, allowing the creek to wash over them. For some time she didn’t speak to the other woman, only doing so right when one might begin to think she was ignoring her. “I sometimes wonder, were I to allow it to take me adrift, where I would I end up?” Size and depth were no matter. That was not the point.
