the new comic easily made mizi my favorite character

ive always loved mizi but didnt try and think past her go lucky attitude - my ass was so fooled

when i saw her response to the blatant disrespect the mole guy was giving her it felt prettyy personal and i love the way vivinos portrays her struggles. especially the little details like her collar being red when till mentions he likes her cause shes pretty

i also just tend to like more unhinged characters

i also love the mizisua scene we got (not just because i love toxic yuri) but because it shows a raw side of their relationship

i kept seeing some people in the fandom claiming mizisua is healthy (which it is NOT, it has NEVER been healthy idk where ppl got it from) and this chapter just reinforced the unhealthiness of their relationship (like all alnst ships)

it showed a new side of sua we had never seen before — her SHOWING bitterness to mizi directly (instead of keeping it in her head) and mizi acting out in response to it

their relationship was already deep but i personally feels like it adds some nuance to it

This new comic is so good… Mizi knowing that others value her for her perceived innocence and seemingly always optimistic attitude, when in reality it’s not all genuine and she just bottles up her emotions to protect herself and others from them. She may not be aware of the full extent of their circumstances, but that doesn’t mean that her life is a paradise; she still experiences hardships and grief and guilt the same as everyone else.

No wonder she feels like she’s responsible for the deaths of those around her. She believes she's led them on, that they fell for a person she isn’t and cannot be, and thus died for that false persona. It makes the other characters hiding the truth from her, especially Sua, even more sad and horrifying. They wanted to keep Mizi’s naivety as a means of escapism, willing to die for it, but they were protecting a Mizi that didn’t truly exist. Mizi didn’t know it would lead to this; she didn’t even fully understand what she was getting herself into with Alien Stage. The worst possible outcome has occurred with her hiding her emotions, and she didn’t even know it was one in the first place.

Edit: follow up post to this one just in case

(I don't think this comic is confirmation that Mizi knew what Alien Stage truly had in store. I think her grief and self-hatred are just accusing her of knowing when she really didn't.)

Sharing the progress of my second Teru doll I've been working on!!

Yes...I'm making another Teru doll!!!

Tiny this time tho- lmao I've seen these cute dolls around recently and KNEW I had to get my hands on one to customize into Teru... so I got two for my Bday! One for my personal collection and one to customize into Teru!

(A little size comparison with my other Teru doll and Aoi- Teru is around 27cm if that gives you an idea how small these dolls are XD)

The red haired (??) one is our victim and here's his progress so far!!

This project is gonna give me gray hairs...

The hair was a nightmare to sculpt and it took almost a week to get something I'm satisfied with- I'm also worried about his hair being fragile and his spikes breaking on me... I really wanted to try getting it printed but idk how that's gonna fly so I'm gonna try and maybe reinforce some places with super glue hoping it makes it more sturdy to prepare incase getting it printed doesn't go as planned-

It's a little funny bc these dolls aren't exactly built like teens so the base doll kinda has some intense muscle going on LMAO it won't show when I make him clothes so not a big deal but it is a little funny to me just bc it's completely unrealistic for a 17 year old to have such intense muscle XD

These dolls also came with different hand sets and there was this one that I didn't originally like bc I thought it looked like a stupid half assed peace sign but I realized it looks like his hand stance in Mokke Of The Dead

So far the project is making progress! I'm hoping to work on the face and hair tomorrow or soon ish- (ima make a reblog to this post about the face plates and what I plan for them-)

I'm really excited about making another Teru doll lmao (rip Aoi's school uniform...again...sorry girl-) I hope yall are ready for another round of Teru! XD
