hey there, i'm currently working on a feminist website and i'm looking for the help of other women to give their feedback, their opinions, and advice/expertise. the site is not published yet but it is in the development stage, and i would really like as much help as i can get as i have big plans for it and what it sets out to accomplish.

this is a website that aims to promote activism, raise class consciousness, support women of all backgrounds, organize events, share resources, and build community. there is a serious lack of infrastructure in feminist spaces and having us all shouting into the void on social media is antithetical to true feminist action. this website aims to act as a hub for ALL the wonderful resources the women on here post on their blogs, for ease-of-access and the sake of decentralization. this website also seeks to mitigate the amount of discourse and in-fighting within the community in favor of encouraging direct action, change, and connection.

When I think about it, men always practice separatism. When I was a child, only my brother could play with our cousins because he was a boy. When I was in school, football was an activity mainly for boys : they didn’t want girls in their team. In my study field, I was the only woman for two years. Now, we are two. The men always stay together. When I was doing an internship in electrical maintenance, there were no women. Whenever they can, men stay between them. Yet, when a woman expresses her desire to be around other women, she is irrational and she needs to be open about welcoming men.

There's a new trend where women are asking their fathers, or father of their daughters, the man vs bear question so I asked my dad. He said bear immediately, and I found the lack of hesitation pretty interesting:

"A bear in the woods does not have bad intentions. It belongs there, it's where it lives. A bear is more likely to avoid you than to attack you unprovoked. They're just minding their business.

Men who have bad intentions gravitate towards secluded areas like the woods to attempt to carry out those intentions. We hear all the time up in Michigan about criminal men being found hiding in the woods. That is the type of man you would probably end up stubbling upon."
