I have a question. How long should a minor sprain take to heal?

Back in July my foot had fallen asleep (pins and needles) while I was sitting on my couch. My foot was slightly underneath me. I stood up to put my remote controler on the charger and was annoyed with the battery dying. My foot rolled as I stood up. Popped in 3 seperate places, and I immediately sat back down. I ended up going to Urgent Care for them to exray my foot, and tell me it was just a minor sprain and it should heal up fine. It's now October, it still hurts, and is painful when it's cold. In the morning, when taking my 1st steps out of bed I have to limp and move slowly. I'm a SAHM, a lot of the chores I do are just daily cleaning/straightening. I don't do anything strenuous, I'm about 5ft4 and 165lbs (a lil over weight, but not to a point where daily chores/life is affected) I will try to post a pic of the bruising of my foot.
