I'm intrigued by your submission. Per the official rules, candidates have to actually be vampires, so I'm going to need solid evidence. You will in fact have to prove the vampire allegations. If you find definitive proof of your discord friend Rae being a vampire they can be added. But watch out

Varney from Varney the Vampire. His name is Sir Francis Varney, though he uses multiple aliases for his schemes. He's one of the first vampires in English literature, first appeared in a Penny Dreadful. As a novel it is extremely long, longer than War and Peace.

Welcome to the 2025 Vampire Tournament!

Here we will determine who is the most popular vampire on tumblr. For the next few weeks I will be gathering submissions for contenders to see who is the best vampire of them all. It can be any vampire character from any book, movie, tv series, anime, video game, or other franchise. To enter a character please send an ask or DM me.

Rules:

Please submit the name of the character, what media they are from, and if possible please attach an image of them.

The character being submitted must actually be a vampire, not just look like one or have a vampire theme.

The character doesn't have to be a protagonist nor does the media they're from have to be centered around vampires.

Dhampirs are allowed and encouraged.

The character must be a vampire for the majority of their appearances. Characters who temporarily turned into a vampire short term and then revert may not count.

Once enough characters are submitted some will be selected to compete. They will face off in a poll to see if they will advance to the next round.
