INKtober #18 It still counts as INKtober even if it has color, right? I loved the cousins! I can only hope that they make a sequel or a cartoon based off the movie and we get more of the revolution twins. Since I couldn’t find references nor could I remember what their bottom halves looked like I kind of made it up.

According to my Mexican friend Gerardo Payan, the Adelitas Sanches or just the Twin Sanchez were part of a common group of wives from the poor men whose destiny were to fight for the revolution. So, in order to help them, they went to the revolution as well with big knives and guns like normal pistols or shotguns and people named them “Adelita“ or “Soldadera“

Of course it is unknown if Adelita and Scardelita Sanchez from this movie  “The book of life“ were wives in life, but I can say this is a really strong reference.

WIP of tonight’s brief Livestream featured the lovely Sanchez Twins from the Book of Life! They’re the baes and no one can tell me otherwise. I need a movie of just them kicking butt and taking names.

This movie man, makes me happy to actually see it happen. Like, woah, an animated feature about my fave holiday? I can die happy now.

I need to make more excuses to draw them.

I decided to make a new personal since my old one is really janky and unorganized and there’s no real salvaging it at this point. I’ll still keep it up until I finish transferring things but I’m slowly gonna move over to my new one.

That also means I’m switching up the people I follow cause I know I’m following some people on my personal that I want on this dash and vice versa.
