Kris moved Penelope back down into her arms and looked at her. “Well I am yours for the night if you want me to stay. Your throat hurts? You don’t need to get it checked out do you?” she looked over at her. “Hun you have a sore throat and you don’t want to do any more damage to it right? So you need to rest.” She looked down at the baby and smiled down at her. “She is beautiful.”

You should have said something I would have totally went with you then at least you wouldn't be by yourself.

When you realize all your friends are getting married or getting into relationships and then there is you drinking by yourself at the nearest bar. Great.

Kris looked up from the noise expecting to see Angelo but instead she saw Adele. "Hey. I thought you'd still be asleep." She continued to feed Penelope. "Well thanks I love little babies." She smiled and walked over to her. "Did you get enough sleep?" She looked at the bottle to check if she was done. "Because I can stay for as long as you need me." She smiled and finished with the bottle and placed Penelope on her shoulder and burped her.

Kris smiled and held the baby. Kris went into the kitchen and started to warm up the bottle in order to feed Penelope. Kris hummed to herself quietly so she didn’t wake the baby up. Kris looked down to see Penelope opening her eyes. “Well hello little one.” She smiled down at her. “ I’m your auntie Kristin and I'm the best auntie.. okay well adopted auntie. I’m going to teach you so many things.” she smiled as Penelope smiled up at her. “Yes that's right I’m the best.” she smiled and started to feed her.

Go.. I'll be fine." She smiled. "Won't we we will be fine" she smiled looking down at Penelope. Kris sat on the couch and held the baby in her arms. She talked to the baby and rubbed her little fingers. Kris had wanted kids at some point, but holding Penelope made her want to have one of her own. She watched as Penelope fell asleep she stood up slowly and rocked the baby walking slowly around the room.

Kris followed her over to the couch and sat down slowly still holding the baby. “Well I’m here if you wanna take a nap or anything like that. You know I’m always around if you need anything. I’m always around to babysit too.” She looked down at the baby and smiled. “What did the doctors say about your voice?” She looked over at her as she ran her finger over Penelope’s finger.

Kris smiled when Adele opened the door and she stepped inside. She looked at Adele and smirked "I am calm" she relaxed and set the gifts down on the floor before she took the baby into her arms and let out a small giggle. "I'm good, I'm cool, I'm calm" she smiled and held the baby. "Ahh well I got a gift for Angelo a toy dinosaur, a cute outfit and book for Penelope, and a date night gift card for you and Simon." She smiled and looked down at Penelope. "Oh Adele she's so beautiful." She walked over and gave Adele a side hug. "How are you feeling?"

Kris had anxiously been awaiting the birth of @xhello-adelex ‘s daughter. Kris and Adele had spawned a great friendship. When Adele had asked Kris to be a godmother to her new baby she was overwhelmed and thankful. Kris had been waiting for a text or a phone call for a few days. She had already talked to Adele a few days before about her voice and cancellation of her concerts and she knew that she was upset. So when she received the text with the picture of Penelope from Adele she was overwhelmed with excitement.

When Kris was finally able to get over to Adele’s she was so excited that she could barely contain herself. She stood at the door and waited for the door to be answered. Kris had gotten a gift for the baby and Angelo, along for Simon and Adele. She stood almost bouncing with excitement to finally meet the baby, and see her friend again.

I’m sorry, I was still here I just had some things to figure out and I went like, camping, and a bunch of stuff. I wish I’d be more help, but I’m blanking right now.

Well I’m just glad you are back. and that's okay. I just need something to do. Maybe I’ll take Maximus out for a walk.
