Not seeing anyone talk about it, so Greta Thunberg and three other activists on the Madleen have been released by Israel. I can't find the names of the others who accepted deportation, but Greta Thunberg is back in France.

Rima Hassan, a French member of the European Parliament who was also onboard the Madleen, has refused deportation along with the other 7 remaining passengers. She specifically said that she refused to sign a document stating she had entered Israeli waters illegally. She and the other seven passengers will face an Israeli court this week. They are in danger. Spread the word.

The Boulder firebombing is frustrating and sad and horrible for so many reasons, but chief among them is the fact that the Western pro-Palestinian movement should have included supporters of the hostages in their ceasefire activism. The hostage advocacy groups are one of the few groups that have made tangible process in pushing for ceasefire. They are also one of the chief threats to the power of the Netanyahu regime. Israeli hostage advocacy groups are literally plotting how to overthrow him:

I cannot stress enough that this attack was antisemitic, not antizionist “praxis” or whatever the ghouls on Twitter are saying. There was literally nothing on the Run for Their Lives website about Zionism. Nothing. They were explicitly non-violent and apolitical. It was a child-friendly event:

Anyway, if you and someone you know was in any way mocking these hostage posters, or tearing them down, or assuming that caring about the fate of the hostages somehow “distracted” from the genocide in Gaza or expressed hard Zionist viewpoints — you have a hand in creating the type of environment that led to this antisemitic hate crime. Deradicalize yourself, make amends with the Jewish community, come to terms with the fact that inclusion doesn’t have to mean endorsement, and understand that you can advocate for Palestinians without buying into antisemitic rhetoric. Maybe take a closer look at your social media circle, or better yet, get off of X/Twitter and Instagram all together, because those platforms are especially ridden with antisemitism masquerading as pro-Palestinian activism.

one of the funniest things abt this white collar job so far is that i get to see how fucking long people take for the tiniest things. "please paste this text into a separate document and send it to me whenever you're able to this week" i mean shit, man, i know what it's like to take weeks for a 2 minute task, but that's wild even for my standards. like yeah i can probably find the time to press the copy and paste buttons sometime this week
