Style of Impact, Bal Dragon

"Style of Impact, Bal Dragon" barely counts as a different form, but I wanted an excuse to draw standard Bal a little more before the transition. also flaming fists make for good lighting practice.

turns out I mentally blocked out one non-impact monster, being "Bal Dragon of Roaring Fist". out of fear of the design, but after understanding the gimmick I actually really like this form. another victim of the lack of visible angles unfortunately though.

if my half-oc and full-oc digimon interacted they'd probably like each other alright, at least after the inevitable questions why they look a lot alike.

Bal Dragon, "Bal Grand Strike!" is another I was dreading, but it was easier than expected. at least for the base armor set, additions have a very good consistency in design philosophy. deciding between red or black armors next.

full Reference for Escrimon, I think I'll keep him officially a Friendship armor, exclusive to the AU that created him. Sunderamon is the closest to a main canon armor he'll have.

more swords for Bal, this one is "Bal dragon, Double Balverize Blade" one could extrapolate a pun out of Bal/Baru referencing Ganbaru/"Do your best", and connect it to the practice of cooking meat "well done", but that is almost certainly unintentional.

I choose to interpret it as "double blades of instantly cooking you to safest edibility" anyway.

Scabbardmon gets real sleepy in the winter, but his instincts stay sharp. Some others in the Guild have noticed and make sure he "happens" to sleep in convenient chore spaces.
