I understand that this fandom is on edge about being made fun of and feel sensitive to that.

But I truly do not believe the plot with the child was aimed at us at all.

First of all, they were filming it at the same time as the funeral leaks broke, IE before any of the fan theories about Bobby not actually being dead broke out.

Second of all- it was about Athena's grief and acceptance, not mocking anything. The woman was Athena, not the audience. The child really was dead, just like Bobby.

You have to learn to separate the fan experience and stop attributing malice where there isn't any just because the fandom got worked up over a possibility.

So many characters are assumed to be straight because of heteronormativity. I want to know how common it is for characters to actually be confirmed to not be gay, bi, aro/ace, or any other queer orientation.
