Kyoji wasn’t alone. Beyond the primary input terminal, the Ultimate Gundam’s sprawling body hung suspended at the center of the lab, beneath the starlit dome. Thick steel-plated wires and interlaced optical cables connected it like the veins and arteries of a gigantic heart to the server racks and monitoring equipment, a complex web cradling the Gundam at its center. Instead of blood they pulsed with information, connecting the body to the primary “brain” of the Gundam’s system housed in the massive computer cabinet behind him. Body and brain still separate— Ultimate couldn’t live outside of this room, not yet, not without the fiber-optic umbilical cables and external power support. Still in a limbo state of incubation, but humming with heat, raw potential, and something like life. // Or, Kyoji works late and needs someone to talk to. Ultimate Gundam is a good listener.

people see news of 200+ palestinians being killed in one attack and scroll or think about it for about a minute then move on. but if 200+ people died in an attack in the west it would be mainstream news and all people spoke about for weeks. i know the numbers of palestinians being killed are astronomical and its impossible to keep up (which is absolutely sickeningly horrifying, there are no words), but the lack of value placed in palestinians lives and disregard shown is insane
